Step inside the The Langham hotel's 450 sq. ft super suite - and you'll never believe the price!

To celebrate The Langham's 150th birthday, the prestigious London hotel has created a £24,000 a night super suite - and it costs a lot of sterling for a night in the Sterling

The Langham certainly knows how to celebrate a birthday in style. After renovating the Sterling Suite and opening in July, the room has been crowned London’s largest hotel room at 450 sq. ft.

Costing from £24,000 per night (!) the price tag is one of the largest too. This six-bed residence may charge a pretty penny, but with bespoke furnishings, hand-painted wall panels and private butlers, this room really is sterling.

Welcomed into the suite via its formal entrance area, guests are immediately plunged into luxury. A dining table for parties of eight sits on top of a rug thick enough to leave footprints, which indicates that this is no normal suite, even by London’s standards.

From here, the room seamlessly flows into the Salon: a room with a private members feel, equipped with bar and baby grand piano (with a pianist on speed dial should you decide to host a cocktail party last minute, naturally.)

This is the perfect space to entertain but should you be looking for something a little cosier, then the Media Area next-door homes a 72-inch TV and repertoire of films and channels on demand.

Of course, it is the master bedroom that steals the show. Accessed via its private lobby, meander through the master suite, past the bathtub large enough for an entire rugby team, beyond the steam room, through the walk in wardrobe until you eventually reach the end.

Here you have the master of all masters. Adorned with three large windows admiring London’s local icons, a king size bed and hand painted wall panels, which are encased in 22-carat gold mounts, this room is the crème de la crème of London’s residential portfolio.

If you can pull yourself away from the penthouse, be sure to visit Artesian – named ‘The World’s Best Bar’ for the fourth year – indulge at the Chuan Spa and dine at Roux at the Landau, a super exciting restaurant that sees father and son Albert and Michel Roux Jr cook together for the first time in two decades!

So, if you fancy a few nights away in the city, wish to stay at one of London’s most acclaimed hotels and you have enough spare cash for a car or house deposit, then stay at the Sterling Suite.

Happy Birthday!
