Fashion designer Sara Berman’s home is beautifully dressed. She believes that you shouldnt try to change what a house is. Its original features give it character, and there are plenty of them to be found in this glamorous home…
Saras cool kitchen, with its decadent wallpaper and sleek marble surfaces, illustrates her eye for design detail. The kitchen is the starting point for the cohesive tonal theme that runs through the house. I wanted it to feel like the same space, whichever room youre in, she says.
The armchairs are from Clignancourt market in Paris, and the cushions are from The Cross. The coffee table is made from an ox cart. The torso painting is by Amiee Berman.
The bedroom is pure decadence. Spread over an entire floor, it also incorporates a bathroom with a stunning freestanding bath.
One of Saras friends gave her the stylised 1970s wallpaper, which makes a feature of an otherwise simple cloakroom.
