1/10 Exterior
2/10 Living room
Decorated in a palette of soft neutrals, the living room features plenty of comfortable seating, including an antique chesterfield reupholstered in stone-coloured linen. Clutter is kept to a minimum to enhance a sense of light and space.
Try Heal’s for classic chesterfields.
3/10 Living room detail
The fireplace has been painted in a chalky white to blend with the walls and soft furnishings. Family pictures dotted along the mantelpiece and generous foliage add subtle colour.
Artwork by Justine Smith. The fireplace is from Amazing Grates
4/10 Dining area
The original shuttered windows are complemented by simple oak flooring and a traditional radiator. The look is kept clean and light with some thoughtfully chosen retro pieces including a marble-topped table designed by Eero Saarinen and Eames Eiffel chairs.
The limed oak flooring is from Jordan Andrews
5/10 Dining area detail
A 1930s sideboard anchors the dining area, providing a contrast to an otherwise white and pastel colour scheme.
The 1920s French painting hanging above the sideboard is from Alfie’s Antique Market.
6/10 Kitchen
Simple painted Shaker-style units and a butler’s sink create an informal, country style in the kitchen.
The kitchen units are from Unpainted Kitchens, painted in Farrow & Ball’s Skylight.
7/10 Master bedroom
Pale shades create a soothing atmosphere in this space, complemented by florals and stripes.
The walls are painted in Duluxs Roman White. The bedspread is from The White Company.
8/10 Bedroom
Pinks, creams and greens blend harmoniously in this pretty childrens bedroom, with a painted armoire and chest of drawers creating plenty of storage space in the alcoves.
Find a similar armoire at The Little White Company and similar floral linens at Cath Kidston.
9/10 Bathroom
In this compact bathroom, iridescent mosaic glass tiles add glamour without detracting from the tranquil feel of the room.

10/10 Garden
A sheltered corner of the terrace provides the perfect spot for breakfast.
