For anyone that knows of the Brighton-based YouTube sensation Zoella, you’ll know that since the move to her new home last year, she’s been getting as excited about interiors as she gets about the latest and greatest make up.
In her July favourites Zoella divulged her love of homes and interiors magazines and gave two of our very own a shout out – Ideal Home and Livingetc.
We thought we’d get to grips with her interior style and here are a few of our favourites, that get both her and our editors’ stamp of approval.
1. Big Spoon, Little Spoon Pillow Cases, £24.95, Old English Company
Now that Zoella and fellow blogger boyfriend Alfie Deyes have moved in to their first home together, it’s important to establish these roles early on – and how better than these adorable pillow cases? Pair with an existing white bed linen set and you’re away!
2. Willis & Gambier Oak Willow Bed, £850, Debenhams
From back in the days of vlogging in her bedroom, we’ve always loved Zoella’s Scandi style bed. We’ve found one similar that looks as stylish as it does comfy!
3. SKURAR, £2, Ikea
It’s unlikely you have anything close to the amount of make up brushes that this online beauty blogger does, but we’ve found a pretty (and super cheap) pot to store them in that looks a lot like one a certain someone has too. Yeh yeh, it’s meant to be a plant pot but it’s gorgeous and rules were made to be broken.
4. ROBERTS Revival RD60 DAB Digital Radio, £159.95, John Lewis
These radios have been around for years and they certainly aren’t going anywhere any time soon. Pick your favourite colour (Zoella has a pale green one), pick a station and bop around to your heart’s content.
5. White Pompelmo range, from £15, The White Company
Self-confessed candle addict (nothing wrong with that) Zoe has sworn by The White Company candles for years and recently discovered the White Pompelmo range – it’s zesty and fresh and perfect for summer. The candles come in beautiful ceramic jars and last for ages!
6. Scion Mr Fox Mug, £10, John Lewis
Because who doesn’t love a mug with a fox on? This fab design comes in 4 different colour ways (Zoella has them all) and are the perfect way to liven up a cup of tea.
7. Wild and Wolf 746 Phone in French Blue, £37, Red Candy
We spotted this phone in a vlog a while back and we’ve been lusting after it ever since. Whether you plug it in and use it (does anyone actually have a land line these days?) or just use it decoratively, it would look fab on a console table. It comes in loads of colours too so there’s something for everyone.
8. Classic Custard Cream Printed Cushion, £32, Nikki McWilliams
It’s a cushion. That looks like a biscuit. It doesn’t get much better than that. We’ve spotted this in various places around Zoella’s home (both old and new) and we think it’s a must-have for every biscuit fan. And if Custard Creams don’t float your boat, there’s a plethora of patterns to pick from. We’re eyeing up the Party Rings.
