IKEA’s clever new designs will change small space living forever

Check out IKEA's epic new living-room and kitchen range for small space living

IKEA has launched a new kitchen and living room range for small space living – and it’s their cleverest design yet.

Did you know that the average British home is only 85 square meters? Well, if that sounds all-too-familiar, IKEA has got the ideal solution, thanks to its new SUNNERSTA mini-kitchen (£99) measuring just a meter in length, boasting style and efficiency.

The kitchen unit contains a worktop and sink and has room for extras such as a fridge, trolley and induction hob to expand the kitchen space and function if required.

Who knew you could fit all that inside one meter?!

And what’s more, with the average UK kitchen costing more than £3000, SUNNERSTA can give a saving of over £2,800 to those looking for a flexible kitchen to install within a small space.

Jordi Esquinas, Head of Kitchens and Dining from IKEA UK & Ireland said:

‘The aim of this new product is to create an open and welcoming kitchen even if living space is small. It’s ideal for offices looking to add a simple kitchen area or a practical solution when renovating.’

Also part of the new range is IKEA’s modular furniture pieces with multiple uses. With so many living rooms today often doubling up as a dining-room and bedroom, this new range is perfect for adapting a room for different circumstances without over cluttering.

Luis Lopes, Living Rooms Sales Leader from IKEA UK and Ireland says:

‘The new VALENTUNA series is IKEA’s most flexible seating solution so far, which lets you combine modules for seating, sleeping and storage. The modules can be easily changed and adapted to create solutions that suit every family and living space.’

SUNNERSTA and VALENTUNA ranges are now on sale at IKEA stores across the country.
