These striking wall coverings have the look of a Bridget Riley painting
We’re big fans of art here at Livingetc and often feature products that take inspiration from classic or modern works.
We’re also conscious of tightening budgets and wouldn’t suggest buying something – however much we love it – if we thought the price wasn’t right.
So, while we followed a recent auction at Christie’s and saw a painting by one of our favourite artists go for a mere £2,882,500, we thought, ‘How can we give our readers a look that’s similar, but at a fraction of the cost?’.
Each design is ‘based on nature’ and takes its cue from a Unesco site around the globe. Earthy, terracotta shades are a reminder of Africa, sparkling blues conjure up images of the Great Barrier Reef, while fiery violets are inspired by a Hawaiian volcanoe.
Priced at around £328 per 9m roll, they’ll give an interior a pop of bold colour as well as some Op Art cool.
