London Zoo opens its doors at night, but are you brave enough to sleep with the lions?

Are you ready for the most unique suite in London? No it's not in a fancy hotel - you'll want to pounce on this!

London Zoo is offering guests a once in a lifetime experience - the chance to sleep in the lion's den!

Nine family-size villas stand in a new complex, Gir Lion Lodge, and offer guests a special overnight experience where humans and lions live within a whisker of each other, all in the heart of the capital.

Inspired by the Gir Forest National Park in India where the Asiatic lion originates, Gir Lion Lodge is made up of a handful of colourful huts that brilliantly navigate luxury living with outdoor wilderness so you get the feel of camping amongst lions, without the bad back or camper bed!

Guests are sure to have an absolute roar!

The overnight experience includes a dinner fit for kings before an exclusive tour of the zoo with a host who will share all their animal kingdom knowledge of the 17,000 inhabitants at London Zoo.

After a night's rest, the pride of guests will wake to the animals' calls and enjoy breakfast before the zoo opens to the public.

ZSL London Zoo commented on the experience, saying, "ZSL London Zoo is a magical place at night - we wanted people of all ages to have a chance to enjoy that magic, and immerse themselves in a fantastic experience unlike any other, sleeping near to our magnificent Asiatic lions."

For a grrr-eat Christmas present, a unique experience in the New Year...or a chance to play with life and death, head to Regent's Park.

Prices start at £378 and the sleepover is available from May 2016. For more information and the chance to book, visit www.zsl.org/girlionlodge.
