Picturehouse Central is offering you and your pup a rare chance to watch a film together. Not from the comfort of your sofa but from actual cinema seats as it open its doors to dogs for the first time.
Celebrating canine friends throughout May, the cinema is selling tickets for you and your pup to watch Laurie Anderson’s Oscar-nominated Heart of a Dog on Wednesday, May 11.
The film was inspired by Anderson’s love for her pet terrier Lolabelle, who sadly died in 2011.
Reflecting on love, language and death with her pooch in mind, Anderson’s masterpiece is constructed like a contemporary collage of real-life footage, animation and narration with original music compositions.
The piece is sure to catch the eye of your date and keep them entertained!
There are, of course, a few rules – only well-behaved and trained dogs are allowed.
