Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll probably know that it’s Amazon Prime Day this week. But as a Floorcare Editor who has covered these sales events for the past five years, I can tell you that Amazon isn’t the be-all and end-all of discounts. In fact, if you were looking to buy a Shark robot vacuum this week, I’d recommend shopping at Argos instead.

And right now, Argos is having a huge sale across its appliances, including the robot vacuum I’ve been using in my own home for the past few months - the Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum & Mop (was £999.99, now £549.99 at Argos). Yes, that really is a £450 discount!

The beauty of the best robot vacuum cleaners (aside from their incredible ability to clean your house for you) is that they’re available at countless retailers across the UK - both online and in-store. And while Amazon and Shark are typically among the most obvious places to buy Shark robot vacuums, alternative retailers also slash prices year-round, including Argos and John Lewis.

While I don’t claim to know everything (if only), it is quite literally my job to review robot vacuum cleaners. So, I’d like to think I know my hands-free appliances. And Shark's PowerDetect UV Reveal Robot Vacuum impressed me so much during testing that I had to give it an almost-perfect 4.5-star review.

One of the things I didn’t like, however, was the price tag, so the fact that it’s now on sale at Argos for almost half price is a major win in my book. Especially as the black colourway I have at home isn’t on sale for the Amazon Prime event, and it’s not on sale at Shark, either, as it’s completely sold out due to high demand.

However, it’s worth noting that the white colourway is on sale at Amazon for £489.99 if you’re looking for an even bigger discount. But as someone who has tested white robot vacuum cleaners before, I would always willingly lean towards black to try and hide the inevitable scuffs and marks that appear during cleaning. Both colourways are identical in perks and features, though.

The Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal has a runtime of 180 minutes, will also mop your floors while vacuuming, and comes with an auto-empty dock that can hold up to 1.51L of debris - making maintenance as minimal as possible.

As with all the best Shark vacuum cleaners, it’s also ridiculously easy to use and perfect for beginners who are buying their first robot vacuum. The pièce de résistance of this model, though, has to be the UV reveal technology, which uncovered so many hidden stains on my hard flooring (and left me feeling rather embarrassed).

But I wouldn’t be telling you to ditch Amazon and Shark for Argos on the basis of one robot vacuum cleaner deal, though.

That’s because Argos has also slashed the prices of other Shark robot vacuum cleaners, including the bargain Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 Cordless Robot Vacuum Cleaner & Mop (was £285.70, now £199.99 at Argos).

Alternatively, you could opt for the Shark ThermaCharged PowerDetect Robot Vacuum Cleaner (was £900, now £499.99 at Argos).

I haven’t tested either of them as there are simply too many robot vacuums and only one of me, so I would advise you to do your own research and read independent reviews.

As Ideal Home’s Certified Expert in Vacuums, my primary job is to test the many (many) vacuum cleaners on the market. But I also spend a huge part of my day looking for the best vacuum cleaner deals - like the Henry Quick Corded Vacuum Cleaner, which is just £99.99 at Argos right now.

Of course, the best Henry vacuum cleaners are generally the most affordable vacuum cleaners out there anyway, but the fact that you can buy any vacuum cleaner for under £100 still astounds me - especially when my other top-rated models will typically set you back anywhere from £250 to £800.

But the good news is that I’ve tested the Henry Quick Corded Vacuum Cleaner already, and can vouch for its effectiveness. And while I would have nothing against anyone paying the regular RRP of £159.99 for this model, the £60 discount Argos is offering right now is just the cherry on top of a very delicious cake.

In fact, I gave the Henry Quick Corded a very respectable 4-star review when I tested it at home and praised it for its extremely long 10m cord, which meant I could almost vacuum the entire downstairs without having to unplug and plug back in.

The fact that it’s corded also means that you can make the most of unlimited run-time and a power boost that you don’t often get with the best cordless vacuum cleaners.

And unlike the traditional Henry cylinder vacuum, this one offers a practical stick design that’s perfect for grab-and-go cleaning - and storing a vacuum cleaner if you’re looking for a vacuum for smaller spaces.

It still has the classic Henry dust pod, though, which means that you can empty it without getting a plume of dust in your face. Plus, Henry claims that the 1L self-sealing dust pod can hold up to a month’s worth of debris before it needs to be replaced - something I can confirm was the case during testing.

Of course, the elephant in the room is that this model is corded - which is a slightly divisive topic within the vacuum cleaner industry. And while some may see that as a negative, I predict that corded vacuums will be just as popular as cordless vacuum cleaners by the end of 2026 - so I see that as a positive.

That's because corded models offer more consistent power, which is something I appreciate in a home with pets - and if you want to make the most of the handy crevice tool and 2-in-1 combi tool without losing suction.

However, I won’t say that it’s the perfect vacuum cleaner. During testing, the floorhead struggled with larger debris, and the location of the wound cord makes storage a little fiddly. But, overall, I do think you’re getting a bargain for under £100.

There are so many other amazing vacuum cleaner deals available right now, too. So, if the Henry Quick Corded doesn't meet your needs, I’ve picked some of my other top options below.

It's said that a workman is only as good as his tools but sometimes there's no getting away from the sub-par equipment you have at hand. That's certainly the case in my new flat, where I've been cursed with an electric hob that seems to only have two modes: far too hot or not providing heat at all.

As Ideal Home's Kitchen Appliances Editor tasked with the lucky job of testing cookware at home, this has proved a real challenge. The only pan that's saved the day? My HexClad frying pan, which is on sale right now at Amazon down from £129 to £109.65.

This pan has long been in our guide to the best frying pans, ever since our expert Home Economist and reviewer Helen McCue called cooking in it 'a joy' in her 5-star review. And now I've tried it for myself, I can see exactly why. Here's why this is a deal worth snapping up.

With a hob that's playing up, I've been in desperate need of a pan that distributes heat evenly and doesn't allow foods to stick – even when subjected to high heat.

As my cooktop essentially has to be on the highest setting to provide any heat, I am actually going against the recommended usage from HexClad. Their official advice is to only ever use medium-low to medium heat and to let the aluminium core of the pan do the heavy lifting.

Even in these trying circumstances I've found this pan to be so efficient at heating and resistant to allowing foods to stick. And even in situations where the heat is a little too high, there's no lasting damage to the honeycomb-embossed surface – everything comes right off during handwashing.

My understanding is that HexClad's tri-ply layers are the thing saving my bacon when it comes to my rubbish electric hob. Due to the construction of this pan, which consists of careful layering of stainless steel, aluminium and a non-stick (but PFA-free) coating, even though it's being blasted with too much heat it's capable of distributing it across the surface rather than creating hot spots.

Of course, having a pan with such a premium construction comes at a hefty price. Even with the Amazon discount applied, paying over £100 for a pan is a huge investment. But as the old adage goes: buy nice or buy twice. Between this pan and my ultimate favourite ever piece of cookware, Our Place's Titanium Pan, I've found that sometimes you have to pay a little more for a product that you'll use for years and years.

If you're a super savvy shopper, it might be worth holding out for Amazon's big shopping event of the year, Amazon Prime Day, to make a saving on cookware. I've listed my favourite cookware picks below which I'm hoping will be subject to some big discounts on the 23rd to the 26th of June.

Ninja's bestselling coffee machine range is expanding. That's good news both for those who want to shop the brand's shiny, new AutoBarista Pro and for anyone who's been waiting for the price of Ninja's first-ever coffee machine, the Luxe Café, to drop significantly.

The Luxe Café is now available for £447 down from its RRP of £549.99 via Ninja. There's no mistaking that the Luxe Café is still a seriously pricey home investment, but considering it's also the best coffee machine I've ever tried in terms of value, this deal makes it even more of a star buy.

I awarded five stars to the Luxe Café in my review of it when it was released in 2024, though I wasn't the biggest fan of the stainless steel exterior, which can mark easily and be a pain to keep pristine. If you feel the same way, the good news is that this deal also extends to the matte black version, which is also down to £447 via Amazon.

There are so many things packed into this machine that you usually only see in products with much higher pricetags but my favourite by far is the automatic milk frothing wand.

If you love a frothy coffee in the morning, then this hands-free feature is going to get a lot of use in your home with the ability to whip up milk into foam suitable for lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites and more. It can also double up as a milk frother for hot chocolates and even has a cold mode for those hot summer days when only an iced coffee will do the job.

If you're just starting out on your journey as a home barista then learning how to steam milk can be daunting, but the automatic element of Ninja's frother takes that steep learning curve away. Plus, the frother is so good that it can create a genuine microfoam that you can use to practice your latte art skills, too.

The automatic grind size suggestions, which appear on the left hand side of the machine's screen, also go a long way if you're a beginner just getting into coffee at home. The set-up process for the machine is very helpful for getting to grips with all of the different elements.

If I was going to snap up the Luxe Café as part of this deal I would definitely pick the matte black option over the stainless steel. I love the subtle finish, which has a lot in common with David Beckham's swish new version too.

When the Habitat Julien Sofa Bed launched earlier this year, to say our team was excited would be an understatement. A sofa bed that delivered both designer good looks and a comfortable sitting/sleeping experience for £850 was enough to impress us, but right now it is an even better deal in the Habitat winter sale at £650.

The original Julien sofa has been one of the top-rated models in our best sofa guide for a couple of years, so it was music to our Sleep and Room Decor Editors' ears when the Habitat Julien Sofa Bed launched back in August.

It almost immediately won a spot in the best sofa beds guide due to the level of comfort it delivered for both sitting and sleeping, which is almost unheard of for a sofa bed under £1000.

The four-seater sofa bed is one of those rare affordable sofa beds that is both comfortable and stylish enough that it can be used as a main sofa in a living room. Right now, with the discounted price, it is actually cheaper than the regular Julien four-seater sofa in green.

The sofa bed has a smart, boxy mid-century design and uses pocket-spring foam cushions that give the sofa a good amount of bounce. The backrest folds down easily to create a double bed-sized sleeping area.

What really impressed our Sleep Editor, Amy Lockwood, is that the sleeping area measures W137 x L191, which matches a full-sized double bed. This again is a rarity, with most sofa beds offering a much smaller sleeping space.

The downside is that the discount is only available on the natural colourway, rather than the striking green option. However, a natural coloured sofa bed is incredibly versatile and can be matched up with any colour scheme using cushions and colourful throws.

The sofa bed has mostly glowing reviews, with shoppers commenting on its comfort levels and how easy it is to convert into a sofa bed. However, one review does still recommend layering one of the best mattress toppers on the sleeping area to make the sofa bed more comfortable for guests.

The Julien sofa bed was the fourth most popular sofa bed with Ideal Home readers this year, so if you're in the market for a new sofa bed, I wouldn't let it linger in your shopping basket too long. It's already selling fast, and at this price, you don't want to miss out.

Ninja's slow cooker range is hard to beat, which is why the brand's original Foodi 8-in-1 PossibleCooker is now sold out absolutely everywhere. But the good news is there's a little-known almost-identical version still available to buy at a discounted price via QVC for £99.96, down from £120. In fact, I actually prefer the settings on this one over the original.

I've tested dozens of the best slow cookers over the years and this new and improved Ninja product, the Foodi 8-in-1 PossibleCooker with a rice setting, immediately shot to the top of my rankings after I reviewed it earlier this autumn. It had the perfect combination of settings for my weeknight dinners and features an oven-safe pot that you can serve straight to your dining table.

I love Anthropologie – after all, who doesn’t? Pretty much everything in the brand’s homeware offering is so stylish and pretty, including the beautiful lamps and light fixtures. The one downside? Their pieces tend to also be pretty spenny – that’s why I’m so excited for Anthropologie’s lighting Black Friday sale.

Anthropologie is one of the best places to buy lighting around. But truth be told, given the high-end pricing of the lamps, I would personally only ever buy them on offer as my budget doesn’t allow me to indulge in them at full price.

Which one do you have your eye on? Even though the sale is running until Tuesday the 2nd, if you’re thinking of investing in one of these pretty lamps, don’t wait around – as great products with good Black Friday deals don't tend to hang around for long. Better snap it up now.

Cast your mind back just a few years to 2022 and one product was at the top of everyone's wishlist on Black Friday: the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer.

The big problem was, however, that it sold out pretty much everywhere (I would know, I ran a live blog on where you could actually find it in stock for months) which meant prices on it rarely ever dropped from over the £200 mark.

This air fryer was released in 2020 but we got our mitts on it to test in 2021 with our 5-star review following in 2022. So you could say we were a trendsetter when it comes to the popularity of this particular product.

Alternative Black Friday vacuum cleaner deals

Run, don't walk to snap up the remaining stock of this epic Black Friday vacuum deal!

Unless you've been living off-grid for the past month, you've probably noticed that Black Friday discounts are in full swing.

It feels like every retailer under the sun is shouting about Black Friday deals at the moment, and that's probably because... they are.

However, as Ideal Home's Sleep Editor, I keep an eye on where to buy bedding all year long, and I know that at many of the big brand retailers, this year's Black Friday discounts aren't *actually* that much cheaper than discounts offered throughout the rest of the year.

That's why I'm bypassing the big brand names this year. Instead, I'll be shopping the Black Friday sales at these three under-the-radar independents, where the Black Friday deals really *are* the real deal. Here's my little black book of bedding brands you may not have heard of... yet.

Piglet in Bed

Thanks to its beautiful linen bedding in an array of muted colourways, Piglet in Bed is the bedding brand loved by every interior stylist in the business. Plus, there are the gingham fitted sheets and striped pillowcases to mention.

However, its bedding is usually well beyond my budget, and the brand doesn't discount that often. That's why the current 25% off EVERYTHING at Piglet in Bed is a very welcome treat. I've even found some hidden gems that have up to 40% off.

Woolroom

Having tested every type of duvet filling under the sun for Ideal Home's best duvet guide, I'm fully converted to wool bedding. As a hot sleeper, it's the best duvet filling for me thanks to its fantastic temperature regulation and breathability. It really does keep me cosy in winter and cool in the summer.

And whilst I should probably (read, definitely) stop there with my Black Friday spending, these three Black Friday sales are also taking up real estate in my mind.

I would wager that December is the month that those of us who own sofa beds get the most use out of them, and if you're planning on hosting guests this Christmas season, there's one Black Friday deal you *need* on your radar.

Third, unlike many mattress toppers, the Panda Topper comes in a wide range of sizes. Sofa beds rarely have the same sleeping area as a standard mattress, so this variety of size options means you're far more likely to find a size that fits your sofa bed neatly.

And lastly, compared to most mattress toppers on the market, this topper is great value, even at full price, but Black Friday deals have just made it an even better buy.

If you own a sofa bed and you don't own a mattress topper, I would certainly be snapping up the Panda Topper at Very today. I've checked prices of the Panda Topper at Argos, and multiple other retailers, and, as of writing, Very seems to have the best deal on the smaller sizes. ALTHOUGH, Argos does have the lower prices for the larger king and super king sizes.

It's also worth noting that if you buy the Panda Topper direct from Panda, you can take advantage of the brand's 30-night sleep trial to test out if it's right for you before you commit to keeping it, and there's still a decent 15% off discount.

Shop alternatives

Last year, Nigella Lawson's 'list of Christmas presents for the food focussed' gave me so much inspiration for shopping ahead of the festive period. Now, my favourite recommendation from that series, Nigella's Judge Small Electric Rice Cooker, is reduced just in time for payday, dropping from £34.99 to £23.60 via Amazon.

A rice cooker may seem like a strange choice for a Christmas gift, but as Nigella says via her Instagram post, this is a 'supremely useful and reward-yielding' buy that your recipient will actually use all year round. After I gifted one to my sister last Christmas, it easily became her most used appliance in the kitchen.

Here's why this particular Judge rice cooker (which is one of the best rice cookers around) is such a steal if you're looking for a present for your foodie friend or family member.

As Ideal Home's Kitchen Appliances Editor, I find myself recommending cooking gadgets all the time (even when I'm not on the clock!) but a lot of them prove too fussy or too expensive to be adopted by my family friends.

The humble rice cooker, however, is the exception. Even those in my family who shun air fryers and fancy coffee machines have climbed onboard the rice cooker train, mainly because they're so easy to use. My rice cooker of choice is the Lakeland Digital Rice Cooker (£44.99 at Lakeland) which takes just two buttons to operate and yields perfectly fluffy rice every time.

Argos' bestselling sofa bed has just been reduced to only £99 in the brand's Black Friday sale.

Yep, the Argos Home Patsy Fabric 2 Seater ClicClac Sofa Bed is already a super affordable buy at the best of times, with a normal retail price of £189. But as of today, that price has been dropped to just £99.

And the even better news? You can still get it delivered in time to host Christmas guests.

As Ideal Home's Sleep Editor, I've been keeping an eye on prices of the best sofa beds all month, and this is definitely the best Black Friday deal I've seen. In fact, it's the best sofa bed deal I've seen all year.

Now, I haven't been able to test the Patsy sofa bed in person, and admittedly, it does look a little basic compared to more expensive options. But one thing I know about Argos shoppers is that they're nothing if not brutally honest with their review feedback.

So the fact that this sofa bed has over 800 reviews, and more than 600 of those are 5-stars and nearly 800 are 4-star or above, convinces me this sofa bed is a worthwhile investment.

In general, this sofa bed is praised by owners for its comfort, sturdy build, and great value for money.

'This is a very solid, sturdy, comfortable couch,' says one 5-star reviewer, 'and it's a very comfy bed as well. Worth the money, wish I had room for another, they are amazing.'

'Really easy to put together, stylish and very comfortable,' shares another happy owner. 'Would recommend this to anyone who needs an occasional spare bed.'

'Cheap but surprisingly good,' sums up another 5-star reviewer. In fact, 'better than expected' seems to be the overall verdict on the Patsy sofa bed, which is great news for anyone in need of an affordable hosting solution before Christmas.

On the downside, owners do note that in bed form it's smaller than a small double bed, so although it can seat two in sofa form, this sofa bed can only sleep one guest comfortably at a time. Argos states that the sleeping area measures 108 x 179cm, whilst a standard small double bed measures 120 x 190cm, and a single bed measures 90 x 190cm.

Owners of the Patsy sofa bed also mention that it can feel firm and requires a mattress topper when used as a bed.

However, in my experience, this is par for the course with most sofa beds, especially ones of this price point, and it's nothing one of the best mattress toppers on the market can't solve. I recommend adding the memory foam Panda Topper for added cushioning.

I certainly think that at £99, this sofa bed is a fantastic buy, and there's a choice of either the Patsy Sofa Bed in Charcoal Fabric or the Patsy Sofa Bed in Faux Leather to opt for at this reduced price.

Alternatively, the Patsy Sofa Bed in Rust or the Patsy Sofa Bed in Green are still budget-friendly buys at their normal £189 price tag.

I've rounded up some of my tried-and-tested alternatives below, but as you'll see, there's nothing that can compete with this Argos Black Friday bargain price-wise!

Ninja's ever-popular espresso machine the Luxe Café is currently on sale as part of a bundle deal via Very for just £469, down from its RRP of £614 and (I think this is the best bit) featuring two excellent add-ons: the Ninja Sip Perfect travel mug and a coffee grounds knock box.

Of course, we're getting to the time of the year where it pays to be very suspicious of 'deal' prices, but this one is really the best price I've seen on this product yet from a reputable retailer. The Luxe Café is also my coffee machine of choice and Ideal Home's best coffee machine of all time.

So, if you've had your eye on the Luxe Café to buy as a gift, then this is why I reckon this Barista Bundle from Very is the best early offering I've seen yet (and it is my job to hunt for worthwhile deals!).

If you can never decide on your go-to coffee order or if you like to switch up what you're having depending on the time you have, the range of choice with this machine will appeal.

Shark has quietly released its cheapest-ever cordless vacuum cleaner, the Shark Freestyle Pro, for just £149.99. The good news? It’s been reduced even further to just £99.99 in Shark’s Black Friday Sale. The bad news? It’s already selling like hot cakes…

A sub-£100 price point is unheard of when it comes to the best Shark vacuums, so it’s no wonder that shoppers are racing to pick up Shark’s brand-new cordless vacuum. After all, even amidst all of the early Black Friday deals I’ve spotted so far, I’ve yet to find anything close to this affordable price.

While I haven’t had a chance to test out the Shark Freestyle Pro just yet (watch this space), this budget-friendly model certainly has a lot to shout about. This cordless upright promises to be both lightweight and powerful, offering two speed options for different floor types.

As per my first try a couple of months ago, I've been testing the Swirl out for a few months now, from summer into these colder autumnal months, and I've been surprised by how much more I've used it despite the weather turning. Turns out sweet treats aren't just reserved for summer!

Some of the best artificial Christmas trees I've seen this year have in fact been twig trees, from the John Lewis Christmas shop opening where I got to see the retailer's indoor/outdoor pre-lit twig tree IRL to perusing Next's website and stumbling across the brand's twig Christmas tree which comes in a black, more traditionally shaped version or a gold one as well.

But while those two twig trees in particular are beautiful and stylish, Amazon’s take on the Christmas tree trend is chic while also being budget-friendly. And it’s popular with customers as over 50 have been sold in the space of a month and boasting over 400 five-star reviews already.

And while I’ve long been a fan of the brand, I’m also someone who likes to get more bang for my buck. That’s why I’ve always got my nose to the ground, sniffing out the best deals. And despite being one of Dyson’s oldest cordless vacuum cleaners, the Dyson V8 has long been one of the brand’s bestsellers. In fact, it’s been so popular that it’s recently been given an upgrade in the form of the Dyson V8 Cyclone.

But while there’s a new-and-improved model on the scene, the Dyson V8 Absolute is still one of my favourite vacuum cleaners I’ve ever tested - boasting up to 40 minutes of fade-free power, a 0.54L dust bin, and the ability to transform into a practical handheld. Plus, it comes complete with a few tools to clean every nook and cranny of your home.

Of course, it’s not as powerful as most of the other Dyson vacuum cleaners out there, and it’s definitely on the more basic side of vacuum technology. But for everyday cleaning in the average UK home, I really do think it offers everything you’ll need.

I even tested it in the home I share with my shedding cocker spaniel, and found that it picked up way more embedded dust and hair than I anticipated!

The only thing that might irritate customers is that it has a trigger power button, rather than a straight on/off switch. This can quickly tire out your fingers if you have a big house to clean, but there is a hack to fix this using this AIEVE Trigger Lock for Dyson Vacuum Cleaner, which is just £4.24 at Amazon.

I awarded this machine an easy five stars in my Ninja Luxe Café review, as well as crowning it the best coffee machine for most people thanks to its user friendly features and value for money (considering the much higher price of rivals like the Sage Barista Express Impress). One of my only gripes was with the stainless steel finish, which is a magnet for fingerprint marks. If you'd like to avoid that conundrum, this new understated colour might just be the one for you.

Ninja has already released a host of other colours for the Luxe Café this year, including Navy and Black, but this looks like the first Amazon exclusive of the year for this product though I'm sure there will be more to come on Black Friday.

With that 25% discount on this already relatively affordable coffee machine, this is without a doubt the Amazon Prime Day deal I'm recommending to those looking to hone their home barista skills.

I previewed this machine along with the other two released in the same collection in my first look piece earlier this month, but the Slimline model was a real standout for those with cosier kitchens. Taking up just 35cm across on a worktop, this is the perfect machine for a corner kitchen space. Here's a full look at this limited-time deal.

While the best bean to cup coffee machines are probably the most popular type of product out there right now, getting hold of an espresso machine remains a much cheaper option. So if you're not sure if you want to invest in something as expensive as the Ninja Luxe Café yet, this Breville machine is a great place to find your feet.

You'll either need to buy ground coffee or pair this Slimline model with a grinder if you want to use beans. A big selling point with this machine is the built-in manual milk frother which you can use (with a bit of practice) to serve up lattes and cappuccinos at home in your own kitchen café.

While we haven't tested this particular machine yet here at Ideal Home, we have tested a more expensive model in the same series – the Breville Barista Signature, which earned 4.5 stars in our review. Saying it was easy to use and boasted great customisable settings, it's fair to say that Breville bring quality with their at-home espresso machines.

I'm a huge fan of this cast iron casserole dish from Habitat and tempted to make a second purchase of it, as it's now reduced by a third, taking the price of the orange Habitat cast iron casserole dish to just £23.33, down from £35.00.

If it's the best cast iron cookware on a budget you're looking for, this is the standout example I've found in my years of testing alternatives to Le Creuset so far. In fact, I only tested it out because I bought it for my mum as a Christmas present when it was first released. It's now a permanent fixture in her kitchen.

This pot has a real quality feel and the colour range, including the new chocolate hue, makes it a serious contender for the title of the best, and most affordable, pot you can buy in your local supermarket. Now it's on sale in the most recognisable Le Creuset-style orange and in navy.

This 3.3 litre version of this dish comes in six different colours: Navy, Orange, Red, Chocolate, Cream and Green. Unfortunately, only the first two of those are included in this limited time discount.

If 3.3 litres is too compact for your cooking needs, the 5.3 litre version of the orange bestselling pot is also on sale, now just £29.99 down from £45.00. Or if you prefer a shallow casserole then there's a 4 litre version also at £29.99 down from £45!

It seems that the orange shade is already an extremely popular choice with shoppers, however, with a number of reviews detailing how people are getting on with this pot in their kitchens.

Argos has just dropped the price of its already very affordable heated clothes airer by 25% as part of its massive Argos Home sale. If you don't have one, I'd act fast, as these cold-weather laundry essentials are selling fast.

It's the two Argos own-brand heated airers that have both been discounted to under £100. The Argos Home 3 Tier Heated Airer has been dropped from £105 to £78, and the Argos Home Heated Clothes Airer with Wings has had its price slashed from £55 to £41.25.

The best heated clothes airers are a non-negotiable in my opinion, especially when the temperature drops. To find them on sale at this time of year, just before they're going to be in high demand, is a miracle. While the Ideal Home panel of expert testers have yet to review the Argos heated clothes airers, combined, they both have over 1,500 5-star rave reviews from customers.

If I were to choose which of these bargain Argos heated airers to go for, it would be the 3-tiered version. It is very rare to see one of these versions going for under £100, even Lakeland, which is running a sale on their cult Dry: Soon heated clothes airers, doesn't have any on offer for under £100.

The reason the Argos three-tier version is so affordable is that it has forgone all the bells and whistles, like a timer and different heat settings. However, personally, I don't think you're missing much with these. I've tested three different heated airers over the last 4 years, and while I've found the timer functions helpful, I'd still opt for the cheaper heated airer and spend the extra money on an airer cover, which will speed up the drying time.

If you're looking for something even more budget-friendly to send your kids off to university with or to use as a backup drying space, the Argos Home heated clothes airer with wings might be a better option. I have always found the space that winged airers take up frustrating, but they are a brilliant shape and size for drying bedding. However, bear in mind that they hold less laundry than a tiered option.

Argos' winged heated clothes airer isn't quite the cheapest on the market at the moment. Amazon has beaten it with the Status Heated Clothes Airer, which is currently reduced from £59.99 to £35.55. However, the Argos one has glowing customer reviews, saying it's 'absolutely amazing' for drying clothes.

If you do invest in a heated airer, my top tip would be to also pick up a cover, which Argos also has on sale. These covers are a game-changer for drying your clothes faster by trapping the heat inside. When I've been in a rush, I've even popped my mini ProBreeze dehumidifier from Amazon under the cover to suck the moisture out and speed things up further.

There are two big draws with this deal: the range of colours available and the number of accessories you get for your money.

Four years ago in the midst of another heatwave, I took the plunge and decided to go all in on a Duux Whisper fan, and it was the best decision I ever made. So when I spotted that the updated version - the Duux Whisper Flex Ultimate Smart Portable Fan - had been dropped down to £174 on Amazon, I knew I had to shout about it.

Amazon Prime Day is one of the best times to pick up a deal on electronic appliances, but this deal in the midst of a summer heatwave is quite rare. There were almost no fans on sale during last summer's Prime Day event, so I was surprised to find the upgraded version of one of the best fans I've ever used reduced.

Like most people, four years ago I dreamed of owning a Dyson fan to replace my cheap and noisy one that rattled away on my bedside table. However, unable to afford even the cheapest Dyson fan, I settled for one that was half the price but equally well recommended: the Duux Whisper Flex.

The Duux fan, while a budget alternative to the Dyson, was still an investment for me, but the girl math added up (and paid off). I've used it every summer and been so impressed by it that I've never been tempted to invest in a Dyson again.

The biggest plus point of the Duux fan is that it's almost silent. It is one of the quietest fans we've tested at Ideal Home, only topped by the latest model that is currently on sale, the Duux Whisper Flex Ultimate Fan.

It's so quiet at the lowest settings that I've accidentally left it on a couple of times without realising it. It has an impressive 26 speed settings, but even at the higher settings, it's still almost impossible to hear.

One of my favourite features is the natural breeze mode, which varies the speed to mimic a cool breeze. It's the perfect relief on a hot evening. There is even a night setting to dim the screen, and a timer to automatically switch the fan off, so you can drift off easily if you're using it to cool a bedroom.

While the fan comes with a remote control, it can also be used via the app on your phone. I did have some difficulty setting this up, which is my only gripe with this fan. However, once it was up and working, I could turn it on and off with voice control via my Google Assistant.

While I do love the sleek design of the Whisper Flex, if it's a bladed fan, it does pick up alot of dust. It is also a faff to clean compared to a bladeless fan, so if you have allergies, you'll need to consider whether a bladed or bladeless fan is right for you.

If you're in the market for a new and quiet fan, I wouldn't pass this opportunity up.

It also comes with a range of really useful attachments, including a star tool, one for upholstery and one for spot cleaning, which I use a LOT. And although there are a lot of great features, I found it refreshingly simple to use. Plus, it's got a large water tank, so it's great for using in big rooms or even whole-home cleaning jobs.

The one standout feature for me, though, was the Express Clean mode, which is ideal if you're short on time and need to target a fresh stain without really soaking it.

And the downsides? Well, it's not the most compact machine on the market, and who's surprised with all of those features? It's quite tall, though, and a little on the bulky side, so it does take up a good amount of cupboard space, so it's good to be aware of that if you're short on space.

It's also corded, which means if you're refreshing multiple carpets, you'll need to unplug and move.

However, I'd happily take that trade-off for its performance.

At full price, I already thought this cleaner offered solid value. But with a whopping 50% off during Amazon Prime week, it's a no-brainer buy, especially if your home plays host to muddy paws, small children, or just accident-prone other halves.

If you've been putting off a deep clean or are considering renting a carpet cleaner, you won't regret buying this machine while it's half price. It's an investment, but it's worth its weight.

It's clear that we're all gearing up for the inevitable heatwave that's fast approaching. And with the best portable air conditioners selling out left, right and centre as lots of us scramble to beat the next heatwave, armed with the ultimate cooling gadget, it's no surprise that we're turning our sights on the next best thing: air coolers.

Air coolers work a little differently from portable air conditioners, but versions like the Black+Decker Portable 2-In-1 Air Cooler, £70 on Amazon, are quietly becoming best sellers.

The difference between an air cooler and an air conditioner is that air conditioners actively remove heat and humidity from a room, using a refrigerant and a compressor, which is why they can be bulky, on the noisier side and can be costly to run.

Air coolers use evaporative cooling to circulate cool, moist air with ice packs. While they aren't as powerful as ACs, they can create a lovely, refreshing breeze.

So if you're on a budget and you need a cooling fix without the faff of a window hose or stock issues, these are the ones to take a look at.

If you see an air cooler that will suit your home, I wouldn't wait around for it. In the last 24 hours, the Midea air cooler (shown below), which we originally included in this round-up and was a bestseller on Amazon, has already sold out. So I expect these coolers are going to sell out fast.

If you're struggling to find an in-stock air conditioner or want a budget cooling alternative, a compact air cooler could just be the sweet spot.

It won't necessarily cool down your room like an AC, but it can make you feel a lot more chill, and I think that's what really counts in the middle of a muggy UK summer.

A bean-to-cup coffee machine is the dream kitchen appliance for many. Understandably, given how capable a manual espresso machine is for brewing delectable coffee at home.

But if the dream of a bean-to-cup machine has always been unachievable because of very high prices, then I've found a hidden gem deal that might have you changing your mind. The Philips Barista Brew bean-to-cup machine, which is now £299.90, down from £529.99 at Amazon.

It's a machine I've recently tested too, so I can attest to its quality, both in terms of quality, design and the calibre of the coffee. Here's why it's one of the best bean-to-cup coffee machines to invest in for your kitchen while it's on offer for Amazon Prime Day.

The first thing to know about this machine is that it's manual, so you'll be grinding, tamping and pulling your espresso shot yourself. That's pretty different from automatic offerings on the market, including other machines from Philips like the LatteGo, which we've also reviewed.

Manual machines are great for allowing you to hone your coffee skills though, especially this one which has very helpful features built-in to guide you through the process, including an in-depth control panel and a very extensive manual.

This machine also boasts a fantastic integrated milk frothers, so once you've mastered your espresso you can get to work on picking up those essential latte art skills at home.

After testing it myself, I think this machine is the perfect entry level buy into the world of coffee. The grinder is really easy to use as a beginner and it has real countertop appeal too. Though I tried it in stainless steel, it's also available in Metal Black.

Another great thing about this machine is that it holds a really good amount of beans, so you don't have to refill the hopper every other time you go to use it. Cleaning is also really easy – all you need to do is pull out and clean the bottom tray in terms of daily maintenance.

I can safely say that this is the standout coffee machine deal I've seen this Amazon Prime Day - for under £300, it's a total steal given the overall quality. If you've been on the hunt for a bean-to-cup machine to get you into coffee at home, there's no better chance than this right now.

After the rise of the Ninja Creami a couple of years ago, all of the kitchen brands have been dreaming up ways to bring the taste of an ice cream van into your kitchen, whether with gelato, slushies or soft serve. And they've finally cracked it, with a range of products to brighten up a hot summer's day.

You don't need me to tell you it's been seriously warm recently and with more hot weather on the horizon, there's one thing I'm recommending to everyone this Amazon Prime Day: a frozen treat maker in the form of either the best ice cream maker or a slushie machine like the much coveted Ninja SLUSHi (which is discounted by £30 on Amazon today).

I've tried a range of these fantastically fun products and these are my favourites for this summer – all of which are on sale. Hurry though! We see them selling out as prices drop and temperatures rise.

My favourite of all of these deals is the Cuisinart Freeze Wand, which I've been using almost every day to whizz up frozen treats. My next venture is even trying out some dog-friendly ice cream with it.

Another release I'm super excited about is Cuisinart's new product to rival the Ninja Creami and Slushi in one: the Frost Fusion, which I discussed in my first look at its features. There's no need for pre-freezing at all with that particular product.

All in all then, it's fair to say that the best kept secret of Prime Day so far is these excellent ice cream and slushie deals. Will you be investing in one to create a frozen treat station in your kitchen this summer?

If you've resisted the call of a Ninja air fryer thus far, that might be about to change as the brand's very popular Ninja Crispi is now on sale for just £124.99 on Amazon, down from £179.99. And this isn't some inflate-the-price-to-bring-down-the-price situation – I've consulted price-checking tool CamelCamelCamel to be sure.

I tested the Crispi, as per my 5-star Ninja Crispi review, back in March, and I loved it. For small kitchens, meal prep and for those who have resisted getting an air fryer so far, this is the perfect deal on one of the best Ninja air fryers around. Here's why.

The Crispi is novel for a few reasons. For one, it features a set of interchangeable glass food containers that you can air fry the food in, which can then be popped straight into your fridge.

That's because, rather than a conventional air fryer design, it has an air frying lid, which connects to power via a plug. Importantly, though it's advertised as 'portable', it's not battery powered, so it won't work for air frying at a picnic or at the beach unless there's a power source around.

If you've been put off from buying a Ninja air fryer due to the expense, this deal is a great way to see what all the fuss is about with this brand for less. If you're precious about your kitchen decor, it's also an ideal choice thanks to how easy it is to stash away in a cupboard or deep drawer.

That doesn't mean it doesn't pack a punch when it comes to capacity though. It's largest container is 3.8 litres in size and I comfortably air fried chicken wings, a large portion of chips and reheated dinner for two with it. I also enjoyed the best mozzarella sticks of my life with the crisping function.

If you want to see what all the fuss is about too, then this is a great time to pounce ahead of Amazon Prime Day (from the 8th to the 11th of July), where demand is only going to get higher.

I'm not the only fan of this particular Ninja offering either, with it gaining a 4.3 star rating on Amazon to date, from 212 reviews. Several of those who have purchased it comment on how beneficial it is for small kitchens and appreciate the glass containers, which are much easier to clean than plastic.

One review reads 'a well-made, well thought out, modern day cooking miracle' – I can only agree. For an air fryer that's more versatile than you might think, the Crispi gets my vote.

When Ninja puts their mind to creating a cooking appliance, it is almost guaranteed that they'll knock it out of the park. That is the case with the Ninja Artisan Electric Outdoor Pizza Oven & Air Fryer, which has currently been reduced to £229.99 from £299 at Ninja.

This isn't Ninja's first outdoor oven, but it is their newest one, launching in March this year. In my Ninja Artisan Electric Outdoor Pizza Oven review, I found it had taken the pizza-making ability of the Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Oven, which impressed our reviewer, and distilled it into a more affordable and sleeker model.

Now it has been reduced by another £70 in Ninja's sale, making it an even better price. There's never been a more perfect time to snap up what I think is a contender for one of the best pizza ovens on the market. It's also one of the rare few powered by electricity.

If you're baffled by why anyone would opt for an outdoor electric pizza oven over a wood-fired or gas version, the simple answer is for ease. I tested the Ninja Artisan electric outdoor pizza oven for a couple of weeks and noticed how much easier it has been to use than other gas pizza ovens I've tested.

It is a plug-and-play appliance; all you need is an outdoor safe extension cord, something to rest it on, and you're ready to start cooking at the touch of a button. No tracking down a gas cannister or messing around with woodchips to get a fire going.

The Artisan Electric outdoor pizza oven has four presets for thin crust, artisan, New York and deep pan to cook the perfect pizza. It is designed to be beginner-friendly, including prompts on the screen at the bottom for when it has preheated, when to put the food in and when to take it out.

If you enjoy the art of bringing a pizza oven up to temperature, rotating it in the oven and that authentic woodfired taste, then this pizza oven is not for you. However, if you want something that is almost effortless to use, this is just the ticket.

It also has the added bonus features of doubling as an air fryer and proving oven. I'm still sceptical about why anyone needs an outdoor air fryer, and have yet to try it, but in theory, all of these functions should complement each other.

You can start by proving the dough in the oven at a low temperature, then air frying your chips as a side dish at a higher temperature, before going in for the finishing touch with the full 370 degrees to cook your pizzas.

At this high temperature, the pizzas cook in 3 to 4 minutes. It is slightly longer than other pizza ovens I've tried, which cook them in just 60 seconds. However, the couple of pizzas I've cooked in it have produced the best crust I've managed on the first go with a new pizza oven.

I'm a full convert to electric outdoor cooking, with an electric Weber Lumin BBQ and now this pizza oven, I find it so much more convenient in my small urban garden.

It's my job to spot the best garden furniture deals, and the John Lewis sale starts this week and ends on 1st July, is not to be missed. If you’ve got your eye on something, I recommend snapping it up asap. You know how it is with sales – things go fast and once it’s gone, it’s gone.

As Ideal Home's Kitchen Appliances Editor (and proud owner of this machine myself as per my Ninja espresso machine review), I've been watching the price alerts on the Luxe Café closely (and cross-referencing it with CamelCamelCamel, a great price history tool). £479 is by far the cheapest this machine has ever been, with a total discount of 13% off – with £70.99 to be saved. It's also £220.99 cheaper than the new Pro version, which is £699.99 from Ninja.

Relaxing with a nice coffee in the comfort of your own home is one of those things that never gets old. Once you have a machine that you love, your morning coffee becomes a real treat.

After testing dozens of machines, I loved the Lavazza Desea, which is now reduced to £129 (down from £249.00) at Amazon. If you're still searching for the best coffee machine and its lattes or cappuccinos that you love, then this is a great deal for you. When I tried it with my colleague Millie for our Lavazza Desea review, it was the easy latte-making ability that sold us on it.

I have to admit, I'm a convert to one of the best bean-to-cup coffee machines myself, but if you're new to at-home coffee or you don't want to spend hundreds on your set-up, I think this is the best pod coffee machine for lattes. Here's why.

First of all, the price is a huge draw for what you get. For under £130 on sale, you're covered for making black coffees and milky ones. Perfect for your day-to-day but also for impressing guests when they come over and opening up your own café kitchen.

Importantly, the quality of the lattes we made with this machine were great. The way this one works is using a small milk wand which goes inside the glass cup that you'll eventually drink your coffee out of. You program it using the touch panel just above, where there are different symbols for the available drinks (cappuccino, latte etc).

It's also a fairly good looking pod machine, or at least I thought so when testing it. There's a couple of different colour options too, so that you can match it to your chosen colour scheme.

In our review, we praised the 'sturdy construction', and the lack of faff. In just one touch, your latte is already being made for you.

We're not the only fans of this machine. The majority positive Amazon reviews (of which there are currently 245 overall) mean the Desea currently has a rating of 4.5 stars out of 5.

The value for money with this machine and the upgraded coffee set-up is what shines through from the reviews. One customer's review says the Desea is 'worth twice as much' as they paid for it, while another calls it a 'one of a kind machine'.

We did encounter a few downsides upon testing this machine, one of which being the exclusivity of the pods that are compatible with it – only Lavazza A Modo Mio pods will work (£9.70 from Amazon). They aren't as widely found as Nespresso, for example. The Amazon reviewers tended to agree with this sentiment too.

Another is that the milk frother gets a little bit too hot for non-dairy options, which might not be ideal if your go-to is an oat latte.

If those things pass your test however, this is a pod option I'd wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants a simple and quality coffee at home. Can you see yourself making use of one of these machines in your kitchen?

I've been covering all the major shopping sales events for over four years, and in that time I've discovered the best hack for saving money at Christmas is to start shopping a year ahead in the Boxing Day sales.

It might sound a little extra, looking ahead to next year's Christmas when there's still turkey leftover from this year. If there's two things I love it's finding bargains and decorating my home. So this week I took it upon myself to see if I could find everything I need to add top-to-toe festive style to my living room this weekend without going over my very strict £100 budget.

When it comes to Black Friday shopping, it can be tricky to cut through the noise and figure out how to shop smartly. With so many deals across homeware, figuring out what to hit 'buy' on can be overwhelming, which is why I'm focusing on the items I've had on my wishlist for months.
