Ever since I spotted Shirlie and Martin Kemp’s stunning pumpkin archway on Instagram, I’ve been so excited for Autumn. So, I’ve asked gardening experts how we can get the look, too.

Pumpkins are the hallmark of any autumn decorating idea, and you can’t really get any more authentic than growing your own pumpkins just in time for cosy soup season. Plus, they’re also a vegetable you can grow vertically, hence why pumpkin arches are typically spotted in small gardens and allotments.

The Kemps frequently share glimpses into their stunning Hertfordshire garden, and their pumpkin archway is the latest piece of garden inspo to make the grid. If you’re also fed up with the constant heat and are looking forward to the season ahead, read on to find out how you can create a statement archway, too.

Pumpkin archways have become increasingly popular in recent years. It was only this time last year when Stacey Solomon’s pumpkin doorscape completely blew us away. Martin and Shirlie’s is a little more subtle than hers, but I’d argue it is more attainable.

Celebrity couple Martin and Shirlie Kemp’s garden is truly stunning. Uploading updates to their home Instagram account @maisonnumber9, their garden has somehow thrived despite the summer’s baking heatwaves.

And it’s clear they’ve been thinking ahead, too, if their pumpkin arch is anything to go by. Using a sturdy arch structure, like this £9.99 metal trellis from B&Q, they’ve trained their pumpkin to grow vertically over its support. It may sound complicated, but it’s actually a very well-known small garden idea, and one you can achieve quite easily with the right technique.

How to make a pumpkin arch

However, don’t expect to grow a pumpkin arch this year if you haven’t planted any yet. The best time to plant pumpkins for a Halloween harvest is mid-April to May. But if you do hope to recreate Martin and Shirlie’s arch, now is a good time to start prepping.

‘I can completely understand why pumpkin arches have become so popular in recent years. They transform a practical crop into something really eye-catching, creating a beautiful feature in the garden while making the most of the space available. There's something quite magical about walking beneath a canopy of large leaves and hanging pumpkins, and they offer that perfect blend of ornamental and edible gardening,’ comments Luke Newnes, gardening expert at Hillarys.

‘For gardeners thinking ahead, August is a great time to prepare the area where you plan to grow a pumpkin arch next year. I'd focus on improving the soil with plenty of organic matter, as pumpkins are hungry plants that thrive in rich, fertile conditions. If you already have pumpkins growing, August is the time to keep training the vines, watering consistently and encouraging healthy growth.’

As Luke mentions, if you do have pumpkins growing right now, you can start training the vines and begin to attain your archway. For this, you’ll need some cable ties (like £5.99 green cable ties from Amazon) to help keep the vines in place.

When it comes to training pumpkins up an arch or trellis, I find it's best to start while the vines are still young and flexible. I gently weave the stems through the structure as they grow, helping them find the direction I want them to take. It's important not to rush or force the stems, as they can be surprisingly fragile. Once they're established, they tend to continue climbing quite happily on their own,’ says Luke.

Then, it’s all about ensuring your pumpkin is well supported to reduce pressure on the vines. In fact, a few comments in Kemp's comment section suggest using old tights to support the fruit - and it turns out to be a really handy tip!

‘Pumpkins don’t naturally climb like some other vines, so you'll need to guide the main stems upwards as they grow and loosely tie them to the arch using soft garden ties or strips of fabric. Avoid tying too tightly because the stems will thicken as they mature,’ says Dr Russell Sharp, founder of Eutrema.

‘Once the pumpkins start forming, support the fruit with slings made from old tights, netting or fabric bags to take the pressure off the vines. The aim isn’t to force the plant into a perfect shape, but to guide it upwards while allowing it to grow naturally. With regular checks and support, the arch will gradually become covered with foliage and hanging fruit.

After a five-year hiatus Big Brother, the original and one of the most iconic reality TV shows is back on our screens on ITV. Last night we got a tantalising look inside the famous reality TV house and we were excited to see one of this year's biggest interior trends popping up in every room in the house. 

The home decor trend in question is all things curvy, from archways to curving sofas the new Big Brother house is going to be a sea of flowing shapes. 

Arches and curved designs has been having a serious moment in home decor over the last few months, and the Big Brother house appears to be the epitome of this trend. 

There is the large curved turquoise sofa, where contestants will await their fate on live eviction nights. A large gentle curve taking its cue from the shape of the Big Brother eye logo adorns the kitchen, and a hallway of multi-coloured arches leads you through into a bedroom and bathroom. 

But, it doesn't even stop there, both the giant communal bedroom and bathrooms have created cosy spots to sit using smart curved alcove ideas. Not to mention the arched mirrors on the dressing tables, and circle shapes galore in every room.

The curvy home decor trend has been steadily growing over the last year. We've seen it popping up in the furniture world with Next relaunching the Made.com brand with the new undulating Kooper sofa, and John Lewis revealed that its statement Lozenge sofa has been one of its biggest sellers this year. 

Both the terms 'curved sofa' and 'curved staircases' have seen spikes in searches on Google. We reckon as soon as people catch sight of the new Big Brother House that trend is going to keep growing. 

Curves do have a hidden power on the mind, and are one of the best ways to hush a home, a term that means to use your home decor to create a calm and soothing space. 'Hushed spaces embrace curved lines and fluid organic shapes. Think oversized lampshades, circular tables, wavy headboards, and seats that envelop you in their curves,' says Tash Bradley, Director of Interior Design and Colour Psychologist at Lick. 

The Big Brother house features nearly all of those pieces, making us wonder if the calming curves were a conscious decision to help keep some peace in the famously claustrophobic house. Contestants who survive the evictions will stay in the house together, with little to no privacy for six weeks. While that is shorter than the three months or earlier seasons, it's still a long time to share a bedroom with a group of strangers. 

There is one place where contestants can get some privacy, and that is the iconic diary room which also includes - yes you guessed it - curves. The seat has been designed to look like the Big Brother eye with a post-consumer recycled polyester chair that curves around to meet the neon backing light. 

While we can't wait to get a better look inside the new Big Brother House, the reveal has already got the internet in a spin. Some have accused the show of going 'too much like Love Island.' Other fans have praised the bold modern look saying 'LOVE THIS!!! Looks so modern, great job.'

If you were to ask us to name a show that combined both entertaining television and stunning interior design, Netflix's Sex Education easily ranks as a series deserving of that spotlight.

Well, it's many a fan's lucky day as Otis and Jean's iconic home is currently for sale for £1.5 million – and we get a look inside the fan-favourite residence.

Of all the house tours we've done, this one's a stunner that will certainly have you swooning. Dubbed 'The Chalet', the impressive Norwegian-designed home was originally built in 1912 for use as a salmon fishing lodge and is located in Symonds Yat near Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire.

Hugh Grant's former South Kensington home is currently on sale for just over £7 million – and among the many celebrity homes we've peered inside, this is yet another one that will have you in love, actually (sorry).

The 3-bed penthouse has us swooning with its not-so-quiet luxury interiors and home decor that are strikingly prominent throughout the living room, bedrooms, and bathrooms alike. Let's just say, it's giving grandeur in every possible way.

This isn't the first time we've peered into a Love Actually star's home (enter, Martine McCutcheon's monochrome hallway), and after seeing the inside of this penthouse, we're also hoping it won't be the last.

The Love Actually and Bridget Jones' Diary star's former Chelsea penthouse comes with an indoor floorplan of 3000 square feet, paired with an additional 1600 square feet of outdoor space – which is often difficult to come by, especially in London flats. However, we'd like to offer the counter-argument and say that we think it's actually been done quite tastefully, in our opinion as it's been paired with classic dark wood interior accents.

It's got us wondering whether this is how lavish Hugh Grant was living when he called this property home, considering he occupied it for over 20 years. Perhaps the Love Actually star had a similar inclination towards the interior trends we now refer to as quiet luxury and stealth wealth, after all.

Bob Dylan, famously dubbed as one of America's 'greatest songwriters', is easily a household name for many – but did you know that he owns a longtime home in the Scottish Highlands? In fact, it's up for sale right now, and we've got an insider look at what exactly he's had cooking up in this glorious estate.

It's not every day you get a tour of a celebrity home, much less a tour of a 60s music icon's home. This stately mansion, known as Aultmore House in Nethy Bridge in the Cairngorm National Park in Scotland has been an extended home to the artist for the last 17 years. However, after being unable to visit since the pandemic, Bob Dylan has decided to list the property for sale.

Surprisingly, throughout the house tour, we came across no recording studios and the like, or even nods to Bob Dylan's career throughout the estate, indicating that it was more likely a holiday home to step away from all the madness that comes with the career.

It's a beautiful estate, to say the least – and quite the fun fact for whoever gets to snag this home next. Oh, what we'd give to be able to boast that our homes used to be occupied by an icon in the music industry. Now, that is a conversation starter.

2. Windsor Castle

Located in Berkshire, Windsor Castle has been a royal home and fortress for over 900 years and is the largest occupied castle in the world boasting over 1000 rooms. The castle was the late Queen's preferred home and acts as the Monarch's typical weekend residence.

Windsor Castle is used regularly for events, weddings, and funerals, with some areas open for visitation by the public.

3. Clarence House

Clarence House stands beside St James's Palace and is the official London residence of The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall. Previously, it was home to Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother for almost five decades.

It's currently closed to the public but opens up to members of the public during August every year.

4. St James's Palace

Located just a stone's throw away from Buckingham Palace and Clarence House, St James's Palace has long been the setting for a handful of the most important events in Royal history, previously acting as a residence of Kings and Queens of England for over 300 years until the reign of Queen Victoria.

Adelaide Cottage is currently the official residence of The Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Catherine, located in Windsor Home Park.

8. The Palace of Holyroodhouse

The Palace of Holyroodhouse is King Charles III's official residence in Scotland, however, is also open to the public all year round and is often regarded as a centrepoint for celebrating the best of Scotland.

9. Balmoral Castle and Estate

We've recently heard rumblings of King Charles renovating Balmoral Castle ahead of the Coronation. Located in Scotland, Balmoral Castle has been the beloved summer house of the Royal Family and was said to be the late Queen's favourite place before passing there last September.

Balormal Castle's grounds, gardens, and exhibitions are currently open to the public until the 16th of August, perfect for lots of summer fun for the whole family.

10. Sandringham Estate

Dubbed the much-loved country retreat of the Royal Family since 1862, Sandringham Estate is located in Norfolk and remains the private country retreat of King Charles III and The Queen Consort today.

The estate is open to the public during the summertime, with plenty of other opportunities to relax, unwind, and learn more about the heritage of the Royals.

Mind you, this is only a handful of the many Royal residences to date and doesn't even begin to encompass all the history surrounding each home, but it's a start.

Therefore, whether you'll be out celebrating or are just relaxing at home enjoying this long weekend ahead, pay a close eye as you may end up catching some of the Royal Family houses in passing.

It’s official: Serena Williams isn’t just the GOAT when it comes to tennis – she’s a pro when it comes to her dining room ideas, too.

The athlete – who was famously ranked world No. 1 in singles by the Women’s Tennis Association for a whopping 319 weeks – has shared a sneak peek inside the Miami home she shares with her husband Alexis Ohanian and their daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. And, as you'd expect from a property designed by Serena's sister, Venus, and her luxury design firm, V Starr, it’s full to the brim with inspiring ideas.

While we could spend ages talking about her geometric kitchen island or that chic monochrome colour scheme, however, we want to turn your attention to the dining room. Specifically, the incredible and oh-so-dramatic lighting installation that Serena has hooked up above her 10-seater table.

A ceiling filled to bursting with eclectic pendant lamps, in all different sizes and shades? Be still our beating hearts, quite frankly.

How can we recreate the Serena Williams look in our own homes?

Now, you'd be forgiven for assuming that a ceiling filled to bursting with spotlights is out-of-bounds to lesser mortals than Serena Williams, particularly as we tend to live in smaller properties than her Georgian-style mansion. 

As it turns out this dining room lighting idea is easier to recreate than you'd think.

Explaining how we can recreate a similar look in our homes, Richard Davonport, Managing Director at Davonport says: 'In choosing different style pendant lights and using them together, you remove the symmetry which instantly draws the eyes to them and creates a statement. If you are unsure how to make the look work, consider using the same pendant in either a different size or colour and then build from there. 

'Stick to using odd numbers of each type of light, and this will give it a more organic look that feels natural. For depth, you can choose different cord lengths to stagger your pendants to create different heights and to ensure that each pendant shines in its own light.'

Martin Waller, founder of global design brand, Andrew Martin adds: 'Lighting is one of the most important elements of interior design as it can completely transform the look and feel of a room. 

'Like Serena, you can layer lighting and use multiple light sources to make a room flexible and versatile. Opt for dramatic pendants as your main source of light and pair with statement table lamps to create an atmospheric mood. Wall lights work well as accent lighting to highlight interesting features in the room, such as art or artefacts.  And choose bold pieces featuring structural shapes, interesting texture or eye-catching metallics to make a style statement, even if the lighting is switched off.'

And Niki Wright, co-founder of lights&lamps, an ever-evolving curation of design-led lighting for every room in the home, offers the following three tips for amateur lighting enthusiasts:

1. Play with height

'Create a layered, ambient lighting effect using low-hanging pendants above your dining table. This will cast a beautifully soft, warm hue over the space.'

2. Experiment with textures

'Brass remains a very popular finish, but we are seeing warmer tones and more patina finishes for 2023. Polished brasses are moving towards a softer brushed brass, with our antiqued and aged finishes proving ever more popular this year.'

3. Consider your finish

'When using metallics in lighting, getting the balance is key. If used correctly polished brasses can really enhance and lift the overall aesthetic of a room. We often design lighting that combines aged brass accents with neutral, grounding textures like rattan and linen.'

Anyone who has ever read anything about hygge will know that ambient lighting design is the quickest, easiest way to create a warm and cosy atmosphere – or, if you prefer, instant 'switch off' vibes when you switch your lights on.

'I wanted to separate home from work,' Serena famously told Architectural Digest about her house. 'I love being home. When you have our job, you never get time to relax. So it’s good for me to be able to sit still and not do anything.'

Perhaps, then, we could all stand to learn something from the tennis pro's hyggelig approach to interior design and stop thinking about our lighting as purely functional. Instead, let's try to make it the centre court – oops, we mean centrepiece – of our homes.

The Sicilian home Amanda Holden and Alan Carr bought for €2 for BBC's 'Amanda & Alan's Italian Job' is now for sale and up for grabs.

This house tour is one we're particularly enticed by, as Britain's Got Talent judge, Amanda Holden and comedian Alan Carr spent three months on the renovation project for these Sicilian flats, which they bought for just €1 each for their show on BBC One.

All the proceeds from the sale of the renovated Sicilian flat will be split between Comic Relief and Children in Need. We think it could be a decent consideration for a holiday home.

Owning a piece of your favourite band's iconic history is the dream of many music fans – but how about owning a property previously owned by one of the most famous bands in the world?

If you've got close to $4 million (£3.2million) to drop, you could be the proud new owners of a sprawling waterfront estate in Florida, reportedly once owned by ABBA.

The home, built in 1982, is located in the upmarket island community of Tierra Verde in Florida, and was, apparently, originally bought for the Swedish four-piece to escape to during the cold London winters.

Inside, the 6-bed, 4-bath home needs a bit of an overhaul – but we reckon the stunning waterside views and pretty surroundings are more than enough to make up for that.

The views from the pool, located on the pool deck, are certainly pretty spectacular, especially as the Floridian sun sets across the water. And while it's been many years since ABBA used the 4,527 sq. ft. property as a base, their influences are still clear to see.

The design of the home – which the estate agent describes as 'suspended in time' – was inspired by traditional Swedish longhouses, evidenced in the long, slightly more narrow look it upholds to this day.

Internally, the Scandi-style decor is also evident (see our Scandi kitchen ideas for more inspo), with a wood-panelled ceiling and a built-in hot tub in the 'Florida room' – yes, really!

It might be looking a little 'coastal grandma' right now but the main living room has loads of potential with luxuriously high ceilings and a large stone fireplace that dominates the space.

Throughout the rest of the home, the current decor is minimal and simple, if slightly dated. The lower floor of the open, two-storey living space leads onto a darker, all-wood kitchen, while upstairs, there's a fairly spacious office room.

Interestingly, the home is divided into two identical 'mirrored' floor plans – each of the two sides have a downstairs master suite, a loft area and two bedrooms with a Jack-and-Jill bathroom.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious but in need of an update. However, the views more than compensate for that!

There have been some recent upgrades from the current owners however; a new roof with skylights has been added to welcome plenty of natural light, as have solar panels to help its future owners save energy at home. It also has electric shutters, and plexiglass covers, providing hurricane protection for windows and sliders.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and his model wife Behati Prinsloo splashed out $18 million on this stunning mansion earlier this year. But after just three months, it seems they have already grown tired of the place, according to property website Trulia. At Christmas last year, Phillip shared this clip of the family sitting room, all dressed for the season. As you can see, the Schofields are a stylish bunch, with two inviting sofas in charcoal and navy, adorned with a scattering of cushions in on-trend geometric and tribal prints. Above the energy-saving wood burner, you'll spot four stockings – we presume for Phillip, wife Stephanie and daughters Molly and Ruby.

The Schofields have also gone for neutrals in the open-plan kitchen/dining/family room. There's nothing like a window mirror to make a room seem bigger – although this space already looks generous to us! You can find a similar design at Primrose & Plum.

For decades, the world's most famous Bachelor Boy has chosen to spend much of his time in his Barbados home, entertaining celebrities and taking a break between tours. But now Sir Cliff Richard has chosen to part with the house within the prestigious Sugar Hill Estate... which means we get the chance to see inside.

Known as Coral Sundown, after the coral screeding used to build it, the unique luxury villa has some of the island's best views and sits on a 2.6-acre parcel of land at the end of a cul-de-sac.

He says himself the luxurious new kitchen, designed and made by Wren Kitchens, is very much the ‘social hub’ of his swanky new pad.

Reminiscing about his time on the professional cooking show Rylan says, 'When I’m home I love to cook. I did do Celebrity MasterChef a few years ago. I was the runner up – some call me the people’s champ. But my family take the mickey out of me a bit. Whenever they come over, they say well you’ve got to cook MasterChef.'

Rylan's larger-than-life personality is most certainly reflected in the space. Complete with a champagne fridge, voice-controlled kitchen lights and four generous ovens, this kitchen was made for entertaining.

Reflecting on the glam style of his kitchen he says, 'I went for the Milano Elements range because I really wanted a concrete look. My house is quite industrial, there is a lot of stainless steel and concrete looking floors, so this was exactly what I wanted.'

Viewers of the forthcoming Channel 4 series will see Rylan and his mum Linda sat on this very sofa – no doubt providing hilarious commentary.

Elsewhere on the ground floor is this charming timbered orangery idea, which James uses for entertaining. We definitely wouldn't turn down a dinner invitation!

In the master bedroom, there's more evidence of James' love of cars and motor racing. A leather-upholstered, Chesterfield style bed gives the room a masculine edge.

James hasn't held back in this guest room, which is full of bold prints... and houses a huge fish carving. As a scheme, we're not sure that it's highly conducive to sleep!

A mix of French and oriental pieces give this bedroom a more restful, feminine look.

The garden is just as impressive as the main house. In it, you'll find a hot tub and this fully furnished gazebo, as well as a pizza oven on the terrace. James has even laid the lawn with the same turf used at Wembley Stadium, making it perfect for a kick about.

She is one of the biggest names in Hollywood and one half of former power couple Brangelina. So when we heard that Angelina Jolie had bought a new home, we expected nothing less than absolute luxury. Looking at these pictures, we've not been disappointed.

Angelina's new property is situated in the historic Laughlin Park enclave in Los Feliz, LA. Oscar-winning actor Matt Damon and his family could be moving home. The 'We Bought a Zoo' star has steered clear of menageries this time, and has instead set his sights on a spacious condo in Brooklyn Heights.

The six-bedroom property has a staggering asking price of $16.65 million – that's around £12.4 million – and is located at the top of The Standish. Formerly known as The Standish Arms Hotel, the building welcomed paying guests for more than 70 years, before Jehovah's Witnesses purchased it in 1981.

After their stint on Celebrity Big Brother, this large seating area must bring back memories for the couple. Though we're not sure they're fun ones, after all the drama that took place. Who can forget Spencer's stirring in the famous house?!

Mind games are much more up Spencer's street, but the pool table suggests he enjoys physical games, too! Keith suggests they might be using those tribal spears in the corner for a bit of back-stabbing!

The X Factor is back on our screens, which means many-a-Saturday-night spent huddled in the living room (for the next month or so at least). The contestants will be partying it up in here, eh? Maybe not, actually, as X Factor bosses have reportedly enforced a strict ban on alcohol. Hmm. CCTV has also been installed to keep things in the house under control – and should anyone break the rules they will be promptly booted out of the mansion. Brutal.

If you recall, Wagner met that very fate in 2010 after his housemates complained about his diva-like behaviour.

If Instagram is to be believed, the finalists are going to be sleeping in the same bunks as previous X Factor alumni. A video taken by contestant Scarlett Lee appears to show Louis Tomlinson's name scrawled across the side of her bed.

Luckily, this is one of six bathrooms. Otherwise there could be quite a queue, especially when the 15-strong LMA Choir are getting ready for bed.

Garden

In the name of supervision, a two bed flat at the end of the garden will be occupied by a crack team responsible for stopping the contestants from having any fun – making any trouble, we mean.

And it just so happens that this was President Barack Obama's holiday home after first taking on the job of Leader of the Free World.

President Obama, First Lady Michelle and their daughters Malia and Sasha first stayed at Chilmark Pond in 2009, returning in both 2010 and 2011.

A 90-minute flight from Washington DC, the secluded spot was the perfect place for the family to take some time out before the girls went back to school, and Dad went back to running the country.

You've created a beautiful family home with your husband, Tom. Tell us about it.

We moved into our house 12 years ago. We’d bought a show house, which was great for us at the time. It was hassle-free and looked stunning. But as time went on we realised it wasn’t really very ‘us’. It didn’t show off our personalities or interests. It wasn’t particularly practical, either, in terms of storage. About two years ago we decided to make some upgrades and I’m so glad we did. The house is now a collection of the things we love.

How did the design of your home change when you became parents?

Having children forced us to look at our home differently. Firstly, we realised that children take over. There’s not a single room that doesn’t contain some sort of child-related item.
Before we became parents, we did an extensive ‘risk assessment’ in the house, which completely freaked us out. Stair gates went in. Locks were fitted on locks!

'Since we’ve really redecorated we’ve been able to have more fun with the space.' Giovanna goes on to say. ' The boys still have to be careful, of course, but I’d say our style has become more family-friendly. I want out home to feel like people live there.

What was the inspiration behind the new nursery?

I really wanted to freshen up the space as it’s not been redesigned since it became Buzz’s room four years ago (the couple's first child). I wanted a fresh, clean space that felt homely and calming. It was also important for it to be gender neutral as we aren’t finding out the sex of the baby – although when he or she is born we won’t be adding loads of pink or blue!

What are your favourite items in the nursery? Why do you love them?

The jungle themed wallpaper is stunning and adds so much to the space, while also being neutral and calming. I really love a statement design - we have flamingos in the downstairs loo, an intricate story-based design in the boys’ room and then full on ‘flower power’ in my office!

The tipi tent is gorgeous – such a unique but affordable touch and I can really imagine the baby lying in there and taking it all in. There are also so many textures to explore with the cushions, throws and rugs and the muted pastel shades helping make it all look so beautiful.

'I’m also really happy with the wardrobe and changing unit. Babies come with a lot of stuff.' says Giovanna. 'Being the third child, this baby is inheriting a fair few clothes, so it’s good to have somewhere to put it all. I love the design of both these items as they feel really unique.'

We're loving the beautiful hallway in the Williams'  London home. We can imagine showman Robbie always makes quite an entrance on that grand staircase! Ayda and her mum give us a sneaky glimpse that their interior is a fresh and clean looking with white marble flooring.

Over in LA, the hallway has a more relaxed feel – oh, and there's a Banksy on the wall, obvs.

Kitchen

We're off to the LA kitchen now, with Ayda and mum Gwen, who are trying out a charcoal powder drink. We can't be certain but it looks pretty horrible. A complete contrast to how we feel about that stunning kitchen in the background. We can make out a fabulous interior with streamlined integrated appliances. The central island is a great focal point, where we're sure the whole family likes to hang out for a good chat. And how about that pretty fish tank? We hope it doesn't cause a Flood!

Looking at the units, we think this is the same room at a different angle. We're big fans of the chunky marble worktops, dark units and copper accessories. Very classy!

Dining room

Anyone else for a Mcflurry? It seems Robbie has a bit of a sweet tooth! That stylish rug is a great feature for such a large room, making the space feel homely, while a huge marble-topped table exudes opulence. And it's the perfect hiding place for Charlie and his ice cream, away from Dad!

Living room

We're not going to weigh in on the Yanny/Laurel debate (it's definitely Yanny!) but check out that fabulous living area. The Williams' clearly love white marble, seen here in the mantelpiece. It acts as a gorgeous focal point, while the clean white interior is very tasteful.

We’d love to come over and whip up a meal in this contemporary kitchen. Andrea’s kept things neat with an all white layout, keeping the space bright and cheerful. The living room sits directly adjacent and is great for keeping that sociable family feel throughout the home.

Surely every day is a celebration with a dining room this nice?! We love the sparkling white floors; clearly Andrea keeps her home exceptionally Mclean! That centred dining table is a perfect size for the whole family. The sleek vase and quirky lampshade are a great statement pieces.

This great little glimpse into Andrea’s bedroom definitely had us giggling. The fabulous full length mirror wardrobe is great for maximising light and making the room feel spacious. The plush seat-cum-storage unit is handy for saving space. Who doesn’t love a wobble board?

The chilled outdoors

Andrea’s garden would be great for summer garden parties with a great patio space and large BBQ area. Purple seems to be the connecting colour of choice, with the plump sofa cushions matching even the lavender in the garden! She’s definitely got an eye for colour schemes. Their gorgeous dog has the right idea by lounging on the generous outdoor seating- can Nick throw an extra shrimp on the Barbie for us?!

We couldn’t end without this fab photo of Andrea and husband Nick relaxing on their porch. We’re loving the white rocking chair and patterned cushion, perfect for winding down after a long day. But if that wasn’t enough, check out the comfy hanging chair in the back. We've also spotted some Laurent-Perrier rosé champagne- that’s our plan for Friday evening sorted!

Taylor Swift is shaking things up – or should that be off?! – by moving house... again! The young pop star appears to be gaining quite the 'Reputation' as a property tycoon. Taylor's latest property to hit the market is this spectacular Beverly Hills retreat.

The desirable one-storey home, set in the lush green hillsides of LA, is on the market for a cool $2.95 million with Sotheby's International Realty. Feels slightly more affordable in sterling, at £2,173,338. Having paid $1.775 million for it just six years ago, Taylor has clearly made a wise investment.

This house is pretty impressive... are you 'Ready For It'?

Built in 1959, the beautiful house oozes Mid-Century glamour – a signature style for Hollywood homes of that era. Don't be fooled by its single storey status – this home is like the tardis, boasting four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, multiple livings areas, a courtyard area and pool. Phew!

The living and den/dining rooms open straight out to the pool. From there, you can take in the surrounding mountain views and lush greenery.

The Mid-Century architecture features floor-to-ceiling glass windows and clean lines throughout the house.

The generous living space opens out into the courtyard and pool area beyond. Taylor clearly likes a design classic, if those Knoll Barcelona chairs are anything to go by.

This living area demonstrates how the high ceilings and skylights flood the rooms with natural light. In-keeping with the design aesthetic of the house, iconic wishbone chairs look perfectly at home in this dining area.

With a 1,000-bottle, climate-controlled wine cellar, we wouldn't mind betting Taylor and her squad have had some 'Delicate' hangovers.

The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped to cook up a feast for the entire squad. The diner-style booth at the end is a nice finishing touch to this an entertaining space.

The master bedroom is a light and airy sleep haven. Dressed with luxurious textiles it's feels like the perfect place for Taylor to enjoy downtime between tours.

The second bedroom is dominated by expensive-looking art and statement fabrics on accessories.

This bedroom features a home office, handy for catching up on life admin without having to leave the comfort of your own home.

The modest bathroom is not what you might expect from such a glam diva.

The exterior is somewhat underwhelming – the phrase 'never judge a book by its cover' springs to mind. As a huge superstar, Taylor no doubt found its modest look appealing. Something grander might have attracted attention and caused fans to camp outside. That would be sure to cause Bad Blood with the neighbours.

With just over a month to go before the big day, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have allegedly nailed down their honeymoon plans. Having ruled out Butlins (probably) and your typical fortnight on a secluded beach, they're rumoured to have settled on Namibia as the perfect destination – specifically, two new resorts that aren't yet open to us mere mortals.

Africa clearly has a special place in the hearts of Meghan and Harry, who spent time in Botswana at the very beginning of their relationship. We've been lucky enough to track down some artist's impressions of where our favourite royal lovebirds will be spending their first days as man and wife.

This is Hoanib Valley Camp in Kaokoland. The area is described as 'one of the wildest and least populated areas in Namibia', so it's perfect for a couple seeking privacy. The resort itself comprises just six tents, pitched on the banks of the Obias River. On any given, you might spot springboks, elephants, giraffes, zebras or even a black rhino.

Inside, the newlyweds can relax on furniture created by local Rundu carpenters and Himba carvers. Each tent is en-suite, with both indoor and outdoor showers. It sits on a raised deck crafted from a combination of wood, bamboo and recycled materials.

After cocktails under the stars, the couple can retreat to this enormous bed.

But that's only the first half of this dream holiday. Next, Meghan and Harry are said to be moving on to the sun-kissed beaches of the Skeleton Coast. And they'll be staying here, at Shipwreck Lodge.

As the only holiday accommodation in the entire Skeleton Coast National Park, the lodge is extremely private. It's designed around the area's famous shipwrecks, and has an on-site pool, bar and restaurant, all made for celebrating.

10 rooms are available – consisting of cabins and two family tents – and every one has its own spectacular ocean view.

We couldn't think of a dreamier place to start married life.

He's worked as a property developer since the early 1990s, and hosts one of our favourite makeover shows, Homes Under The Hammer. So we've always imagined Martin Roberts has a rather impressive home of his own.

And last Saturday, we got to see it, as Keith Lemon went 'Through The Keyhole'.

Located in a picturesque village just outside Bath, Martin's home is a handsome period property. It's made from Cotswold stone and is spread over four floors.

Keith enters through the back door into the country-style kitchen. The impressive space boasts a Leisure range cooker, two breakfast bars and a fish tank built into the island.

No Keith, it's not a foot spa...

Next, Keith pops upstairs to the spacious bathroom. It's filled with fun touches for Martin's children Megan and Scott, as well as a bling basin and loo with gold detail.

The master bedroom is another huge space. We bet Martin couldn't wait to return to his own bed after his stint in the Australian jungle. And here's an idea to steal – shelves for books at the foot of the bed.

Martin also has a dressing room with storage for his epic collection of floral shirts.

There's lots going on in the garden. Is it just us that wants to have a go on the climbing wall?! Megan and Scott are very lucky.

The beautifully landscaped outdoor space even has its own pond.

Broadcaster Martin has installed his own radio studio in a treehouse. Cheeky Keith auctions it off, Home Under The Hammer style, at the end of the tour, raising a measly five pounds and eight pence!

We're more interested in what the main property would fetch at auction! Martin is a shrewd investor, so we have no doubts it would do well. What do you think?

Back in the 1990s, we would have given anything for Linda Barker to come to our homes and give them the Changing Rooms treatment. Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen? Not so much...

But anyway, now is your chance to actually own a home that's been entirely decorated by Linda. Because the original queen of interior design on TV is selling her rural idyll just outside York.

'What most impresses me with this refurbished cottage is the way the owners have added a glazed extension to the kitchen, opening up to rural views to the back,' says property agent Jennifer Kendrew. We couldn't agree more Jennifer.

The open-plan kitchen/breakfast room features Neff appliances and Wren unit from Linda's own range, natch. It shares the ground floor with three more reception rooms. There's also snug and this dining room, which also opens out on the garden...

...and this sitting room. Linda has dared to mix French chairs with a Venetian-style mirror and north African influenced rug and tables, and as usual, it looks fab.

Upstairs, there's a master bedroom with en suite, and three more bedrooms, sharing a family bathroom.

Not an inch inch of this property has escaped Linda's attention – not even the the garden. It's been landscaped to make it easier to maintain, with raised beds and an oak tree. Can you see yourself entertaining on the hardwood deck in summer?

The 'chuffing great mansion', as Keith describes it, is located in the heart of the Sussex countryside and includes farmland and stables for Katie's beloved horses.

Inside, it's as glamorous as you might expect for a former glamour model.

Keith begins his tour in the hallway, where he finds find plenty of glitter, including a glitter mirror and some unusual 'long-backed beglittered chairs'. We're TOTALLY going to start using the word beglittered from now on.

An open-plan kitchen/living/dining area forms the heart of Katie's home. There are plenty of places here for Ms Price and her friends to perch and have a gossip, Loose Women style. Oh, and because we are in the countryside, after all, there's even an AGA.

Upstairs, Keith tells us there are 'not one, not six, not 10, but five kids bedrooms' for Katie's children Harvey, Princess, Bunny, Junior and Jett.

There's also an enormous boudoir for Katie, featuring a huge bed. A woman after our own heart, she loves a decorative cushion or two, or six.

Katie also has a walk-in wardrobe and shoe closet, or as Keith calls it, a 'shoe farm'. But the real farming is done outside, where Katie keeps sheep and chickens – in a pink chicken coop, naturally. Katie reveals that she's got at least 200 animals, but has 'given up counting'.

Katie told Keith 'If you'd just given me two more weeks, because we're having it renovated, and it would have looked completely different. But you guys didn't want to wait.'

You'll have to invite the camera's back when it's finished, Katie!

She'll soon be back on our screens in the Celebrity Great British Bake Off. And if you can afford the rent, you could live in Teri Hatcher's house – a stunning Mid-century style home in Los Angeles. The Desperate Housewives star is letting the three-bedroom property for $25,000-a-month... and *spoiler alert*, the kitchen is pretty fabulous.

Built in the 1960s, the secluded home is situated not on Wisteria Lane, but in Studio City – an area named after the TV studios (and latterly, yoga studios) nearby. It was clearly a handy location when Teri was filming Desperate Housewives at Universal Studios, and also Superman reboot Lois & Clark, where she starred alongside Dean Cain. Remember him?!

Access to the fancy rental is through a gated driveway. There's a garage and ample parking for any showbiz friends you might want to invite over for dinner.

We're loving Teri's pink front door, which opens into a spacious hallway. We're 'standing' at the entrance to the library, while those stairs lead up to a living room.

Teri's a keen singer and dancer – did you know she was once a cheerleader for the San Francisco 49ers, and recorded a Beatles classic for a charity album? Anyway, her love of performing explains the baby grand piano and guitar collection in here. And check out that shaggy rug and white couch – we'd be putting a ban on red wine in this space.

Teri's alter ego, ditzy Susan Mayer, is known for being an awful cook, but happily, Teri doesn't take after her. In fact, she enrolled in the Cordon Bleu cooking school in Paris as soon as Desperate Housewives left our screens. We're sure it was a pleasure to practise her new-found skills – and train up for Bake Off – in this emerald green workspace.

Back inside, the large master bedroom has its own sitting area, fireplace and desk, which looks out over the garden.

Teri has kept to a monochrome scheme, with metallic touches and a luxe wall treatment giving the space some old-school Hollywood glamour.

Talk about a Bond girl's bathroom! Tomorrow Never Dies star Teri has treated herself to a corner bath with its own TV, and heaps of storage for lotions and potions. A Mickey Mouse print is a fun addition.
