I live in a Victorian mid-terrace home, so I have a very small garden. But while I don’t have oodles of space, I do have a lot of big garden ideas - and these two things don’t coexist very well. That’s why I couldn’t help my excitement when I spotted that this compact OUTSUNNY Garden Shed was reduced from £618.99 to £234.60 at Debenhams.

Like everyone else, I’m gearing up to spend the next few months enjoying the much-anticipated British summer. I want to tend to my plants in the sunshine, and hang out with friends and family (ideally with a burger and an ice cream in my hands). But with gardening tools, pots, cushions, dog toys and more cluttering up my small outdoor space, it’s not very relaxing.

So, I started searching the Debenhams garden storage sale for a compact shed that would help me hide and organise these ugly-but-practical garden items without taking over the entirety of my small garden - and I think I’ve found it!

In smaller outdoor spaces, it’s always best to opt for small garden storage ideas. But anyone who has gone in search of a compact shed will know that it’s still pretty difficult, with even the smallest wooden sheds still being too large for cosier spaces.

However, the OUTSUNNY Plastic Garden Shed is the perfect size, measuring 4 x 3 ft. This means it’s nice and compact, but still has roomy storage for everything from lawn mowers to large outdoor cushions. It also comes in two different colourways, so you can choose between light grey and dark grey.

If you do have a slightly larger space and need to store bigger garden items, though, the OUTSUNNY 7 x 4ft Metal Garden Shed is also reduced from £557.99 to £213.35 at Debenhams - making it even cheaper than the smaller size.

Personally, the smaller option suits my Victorian terraced garden best, and I love that this space-savvy shed also comes with a window to let natural light into the space while adding some much-needed character to what could be a very ugly addition to a small garden.

Plus, the vent above the door allows for proper airflow to prevent damp and mould from forming on your summer essentials throughout the year.

If you want extra peace of mind, the bargain OUTSUNNY shed also includes a secure latch lock, so you can rest easy knowing the contents are safe and sound. And for under £250, I really do think it’s a steal. Especially as it was over £600.

What I love most about this shed is that it builds on the garden wardrobe trend that’s taking over small gardens across the UK right now. This has allowed those who might typically avoid sheds to find more compact options that suit these smaller spaces - meaning small home dwellers can tackle garden clutter right there and then.

But these aren’t the only Debenhams garden storage deals to be had right now, and I’ve popped some of my favourites below.

Living in a single-glazed home, I've accepted that condensation is part of everyday life. We have original windows with no trickle vents, so windows are wiped down regularly, with panes becoming misty again first thing the next morning.

The worst offender in the house drips unless I wipe it down, and our bedroom window unfailingly mists up thanks to steam from the ensuite shower every morning.

So when I came across the 1L compact dehumidifier available at Debenhams and a few other retailers, too, that promises to remove moisture from problem areas without taking up much real estate, I was keen to give it a whirl.

And I have to say, it's become one of the best little helpers in my battle against steamy windows. OK, it's not going to compete with some of the best dehumidifiers around, but here's why it's a really good buy.

This slick-looking dehumidifier has a one-litre tank and is designed to extract up to 250ml of moisture per day, which is perfect for smaller rooms and problem windows like mine.

It's lightweight and runs quietly, which matters a lot for me when it's sitting next to my bedside table to target our bedroom window or by a window I see all the time.

You can also quite literally see it pulling the moisture from the air with its clear water tank, and there's a little alert too, so I don't have to check if it's full.

It also features a handy timer to set it to run first thing in the morning when the moisture is at its peak due to overnight buildup and showers.

And the best part is it's compact, at 25cm tall and fits neatly beside the sill of that perpetually fogged-up window, without dominating the room like a bigger unit would.

I've seen a real difference in the target windows I've used it near, with the usually heavy condensation now a light mist that can be easily wiped away.

Let's be realistic, this compact dehumidifier is not a whole-house damp solution or a replacement for a larger, high-capacity dehumidifier you'd run all day for laundry, for example. However, if you're dealing with specific problem areas, this little unit is a genuinely helpful tool to have in your damp-busting arsenal.

It hasn't solved the problem but has made it significantly easier to deal with on a daily basis, which is a small victory in my eyes.

It has one of the highest extraction rates on the market, making it great if you want to get rid of damp in larger rooms.

It offers Smart App controls, which means it connects to WiFi and can be controlled via the Pro Breeze App or connected to your Alexa or similar voice-activated devices. Additionally, with an automatic humidity sensor, you can simply select your desired humidity level, turn the dehumidifier on, and let it do its job.

This dehumidifier does not have a dedicated laundry function, but our Pro Breeze 30L dehumidifier review found it was still helpful at drying wet washing inside faster. However, we did find the Pro Breeze 30L Dehumidifier could be a little noisy, heavy and used a lot of energy to work.

‘This well-packaged product comes with a useful app; this will save a lot of time going back and forth to operate the dehumidifier if you aren't close to it all the time. I can even operate it from work! It absorbs a huge amount of water and is easy to empty. We are using it in a cellar, which we don't use daily, so the noise volume isn't an issue; however, it is noticeable when you're in the room with it. For its price, the Berkfield Home Lounge Set is great value for money. It doesn’t have any reviews currently, but Debenhams is known for being a reliable department store. But if you’re not quite convinced, I’ve found some highly-rated alternatives.

If you haven’t found your summer garden furniture set just yet, the Berfield Home Lounge Set is a great deal. It’s stylish, affordable, and its modular design is very on trend.

Debenhams is one of those stores many of us forget about after it disappeared from the physical high street. However, since it closed its doors four years ago, it's been quietly re-establishing its online shop and has a very impressive lighting range.

I was alerted to this fact after spotting a Soho Home style table lamp on Instagram. After tracking it down, I was shocked to find that it was only £50, and was a BHS table lamp from Debenhams.

I shouldn't have been as shocked as I was. On closer inspection, I found that the department store stocks a huge BHS lighting range, which has always had an amazing reputation for making stunning lighting fixtures, so much so that it managed to survive the fall of BHS.

However, there are also several small budget brands with table lamps that look about twice the price they are.

I'm no stranger to rifling through the Debenhams website in search of a bargain, reminiscing about when the department store was one of the cornerstones of the Great British high street. However, it's now what I'd have considered one of the best places to buy garden furniture, but the recent garden furniture deals stopped me in my tracks.

Not only did I find one designer-look outdoor corner sofa on sale, undercutting what I already consider a great value price for a similar style sofa at John Lewis. But I found three other versions in the Debenhams garden furniture sale that all look expensive and come in at under £1000.

I'm a sucker for an elegant L-shaped outdoor sofa. I'm personally not a fan of the rattan versions that were so popular over the last few years and preferred the functionality and looks of these paired back styles with built in side tables.

It was the Debenhams outdoor sofa above that caused both me and my editor to issue audible squeals of delight, we'd seen sofas like this before, but for under £1000? This was a first.

Both of the L-shaped sofas above are made from aluminium frames and furniture covers. However, you will need to store the cushions indoors, especially in wet weather to keep them in good condition.

While I do think the Debenhams outdoor sofa above is a great deal, I understand that a £900 garden sofa is still out of reach when you're looking for budget garden ideas. However, Debenhams came up trumps with three alternatives at slightly lower prices with a similar high-end look.

These deals won't stick around for long and if you want to upgrade your outdoor space in time for the bank holiday - it's meant to be a warm one - you better start ordering fast.
