I can't wait to snap up the gingham ric rac duvet set after spotting it in Primark’s latest spring collection. Costing £14 for a double duvet and pillow case set, it is a bargain. Plus, with its stylish yellow gingham print and soft pink ric rac trim, it looks expensive, too. I wouldn’t have guessed the set came from Primark.

While butter yellow may have had its peak last year, this sunny yellow print won't be going out of style anytime soon. Gingham bedding has a timeless appeal and has been a dominant bedding trend for a few years now, proving it has more longevity than your average microtrend. Plus, this stunning yellow shade is fresh and summery, ideal if you want to forget it’s chilly February outside.

Primark’s gingham bedding set is made from 60% cotton and 40% polyester, with a cotton-rich fabric finish. When it comes to finding eclectic, quirky homeware, Urban Outfitters has always been one of the places I’ve checked for cool-girl home buys, but lately I’ve been drawn more and more to Primark's home section. With affordable prices and stylish pieces on offer, I’m now asking: is Primark the new Urban Outfitters?

I won’t lie, Primark has been nailing some of the biggest home decor trends this year. Only recently, I’ve been left super impressed with their Cosy autumn homeware, as well as their traditional Christmas decor, which I’m sure you’ll agree, looks more expensive than the budget price tags they come with.

While Urban Outfitters remains one of my favourite places to shop for homeware, I can’t argue with Primark’s prices. Here’s how the two compare.

It was while browsing Primark’s new homeware drops recently that I spotted their Cinnamon Bun Candle (£7) was a dead ringer for the Urban Outfitters Cinnamon Bun Scented Candle (£20), which I’d spotted online earlier in the week.

I love pretty candles and am frequently looking for the best candles to scent my home. I also love cinnamon buns, so this felt like a match made in heaven. Now, when you study both candles, it is obvious that the Urban Outfitters candle has a greater level of detailing and looks slightly more realistic than the Primark candle. But Primark’s candle has a pretty pink bow and is £13 cheaper, making it a pretty worthy alternative in my book.

From this, I began wondering, ‘Is Primark the New Urban Outfitters?’, and started to delve deeper into Primark’s homeware collection. My findings show that often Primark produces more affordable home decor, complete with an Urban Outfitters-esque style.

Primark has been producing more and more quirky and vibrant homeware, which I think makes it an Urban Outfitters rival. While I’ll still be checking Urban Outfitters to find decor for my home, I will also be checking Primark for affordable alternatives.

As an interiors journalist, Christmas normally begins for me way back in July when the first festive emails start flooding my inbox, and honestly, I become more like Scrooge every year. But Primark’s traditional Christmas decor has just put a smile on my face - and it’s not even December yet.

Even if I’m not quite on board with Christmas trends emerging earlier and earlier each year, there’s not much I can do about it. With traditional, nostalgic decor a driving force behind this year’s trends, I can’t help but smile at our desire to go back to the magical Christmases of our childhoods.

This is why Primark’s £8 Nutcracker is at the top of my to-buy list. ‘Nutcrackercore’ has been a breakout trend this year and is representative of the shift back towards traditional decor. Crafted from wood, Primark’s nutcracker has nostalgic appeal; it looks like the little ornaments my grandparents would display when I was a kid.

The nutcracker is available in two colourways, too. The first is a traditional red and blue uniform, while the second is a glittering pink and gold, giving you the choice of a playful modern ornament or the traditional nutcracker.

This style is reflected in all of Primark’s festive decor. You can see from my top picks that traditional red colourways feature throughout, while teddy bear motifs and kitsch cookware provide the nostalgic feel-good feeling we’re all searching for.

Enter Primark. Their collection is packed with rich, creamy neutrals, soft textures and lots of faux fur; it’s perfect for hunkering down this winter and embracing the Cosy-maxxing trend. Here are my top picks.

What is Cosy-maxxing?

Cosy-maxxing emerged this year as a well-being trend focused on creating a cosy and calming space. Of course, this lends itself beautifully to the interiors world, where cosy can become physical in the form of soft lighting, fluffy throws and the best bedding to snuggle up in.

‘Much like any popular fashion, wellness or TikTok trend, it was only a matter of time before it trickled into the interiors space. At its heart, cosy-maxxing is about sensory layering. Think lighting, texture, scent, and sound working together to create calm. For example, soft lamps instead of the big light, plush rugs to make you feel snug, and shelves that proudly display your favourite books, candles, or ceramics,’ explains Hannah Thistlethwaite, Home and Textiles Buyer at Heal’s.

This is what Primark is nailing. Serving cosy on a budget, their super soft throws are definitely worth picking up at just £14. I love the inclusion of richer textures such as faux fur, combined with warming browns across the collection to create a truly warm and cosy feel. It’s the perfect foundation to start Cosy-maxxing at home.

I don’t need any excuse to make my home feel more cosy, making this trend an easy one for me to follow. Now, I’m off to add even more fluffy throws, soft cushions and scented candles to my home.

Primark has been selling its colourful collapsible storage crates for a few years, but the mini £1.50 versions are one of the most underrated storage solutions on the high street.

Since they first launched, I've steadily built up a collection of four small crates and two of the £3 medium-sized crates. I started out thinking the larger ones would be the most useful for organising my wardrobe and home, but it's actually the small ones I keep going back for more of.

The Primark collapsible crates basically do what they say on the tin: they're plastic crates that can be clicked into place and folded flat when not in use. They're available in a range of colours; the small version is currently sold in 6 colours from beige through to dark blue, and 3 multi-coloured versions.

I originally picked up one of the medium-sized crates to store handbags and scarves in my wardrobe as a simple bedroom storage idea. The small version was an impulse purchase; I just thought it looked cute and had no plans for it beyond that. Three years later, shockingly, it's that impulse buy that stood the test of time.

The small versions are in almost every room of my flat, and I'm planning to invest in more to tidy up my dressing table and organise my desk. Currently, I use them to hold the tea supplies on my pantry shelves, to contain stock cubes and seasonings in my kitchen cabinet, and to organise all my lotions and potions in the bathroom.

What won me over to the small crates was that they were just the right size to keep all those messy little extra bits I didn't know what to do with together. Plus, in a range of colours, they are one of the prettiest storage solutions I've come across.

I've tried other storage baskets and boxes before, but not only were they not great to look at, but many of them had rounded edges or slanting sides, taking up unnecessary extra space. The small storage crates have a clean boxy shape that sits flush against a cabinet wall and each other to maximise the available space.

While the Primark small crates are my favourite for their £1.50 price tag, they're not the only ones available. Sostrene Greene, Hay, La Redoute, Amazon and so many others all have an impressive range of collapsible crates. While I love the small Primark versions, I've been less impressed with the sturdiness of the medium size, so I would recommend spending a little more to guarantee it lasts for as long as possible.

How to use collapsible storage crates

I'm not the only fan of a folding storage crate; they're rated by experts, too, for their versatility and the ease with which you can colour-code things.

'Small folding storage crates are incredibly versatile for keeping a home organised. I always recommend choosing a few sizes, small, medium, and large, so you can tackle clutter in every corner of the house,' explains Chris Hutton a storage expert and owner of Adams Selfstore.

'For example, small crates are perfect for bathroom drawers or under-shelf storage, keeping toiletries or cleaning supplies neatly contained. Medium crates work well for pantries or cupboards, storing tins, snacks, or children’s toys. 'The best way to use them is to assign each crate a purpose and keep them visible but tidy. Colour-coding can also make it easy to identify what’s inside without having to rummage.'

This is exactly how I use my crates, each one holds a different category of 'things', be that tea supplies, seasonings or post-shower products. It makes the house look tidy and makes finding things so much easier.

While Le Creuset’s dishes are certainly the two I would choose, they are wishlist items, and Primark is far more affordable. For cookware you’ll use for one season a year (provided you are a stickler for seasonal decor), Primark’s £8 option is still a great choice for serving up single servings of casseroles and pot pies.

Just as Pinterest released its autumn 2025 trend report this week, naming ‘Art Deco decor’ as one of the biggest trends of the season ahead, Primark Home is confirming it. The store is expanding its more expensive-looking collection called The Edit with new Art Deco-style homeware.

So it’s official – the Art Deco aesthetic is the latest hot home decor trend that you’ll be seeing a whole lot more of in the next few months. And it starts now with this elevated Primark range with prices starting at just £5.

While the first drop of The Edit had a holiday focus with palm tree motifs, this one is all about the opulence, geometry and gold tones synonymous with the Art Deco style.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Primark home, but it wasn’t until recently that I realised quite how fabulous their furniture was - sleek and expensive-looking, your guests will never guess these home buys come from Primark.

Another standout is the Boucle Dining Chair (£45), which could easily be mistaken for Next’s Set of 2 Casual Boucle Oyster Aire Black Leg Dining Chairs (£330). Almost a perfect match, it’s unbelievable that Primark’s dining chairs are so cheap! They’re elegant, plush, with a curved back for added comfort.

Now I haven’t tested Primark’s furniture, so I can’t vouch that it is as sturdy and well-made as the other brands. But I have done some social media scrolling and the furniture has gone semi-viral on TikTok, with users proudly showing off their bargain buys.

I love Primark for being cheap and reliable, so while you may not expect it to be the best furniture on the market, it does what it says on the tin, and looks good, too.

But if you haven’t been quite convinced, I‘ve tracked down some more well-rated expensive-looking furniture.

I've been lusting after Anthropologies icon juice glasses for a few years now, so I was stunned to find a perfect alt at Primark, but for half the price.

Primark's embossed glass tumblers are almost identical to the style of Anthropologie's best selling icon juice glasses. The big difference? Anthro's version sells for £14, while you can pick up Primark's for a much more purse friendly £6.

I first came across Anthropologies version of the glasses a few years ago when my Mum picked up a couple in the sale with Christmas motifs for the Christmas dinner table. I have been trying not to stuff them in my bag every time I visit her ever since.

The handblown glasses are mini works of arts with playful motifs like tennis balls or bows picked out in hand pressed coloured glass beads on the side. Just last month, Anthropologie dropped five new designs including strawberries and pasta shapes.

Sadly, Primark doesn't have the same extensive range of 21 different designs, they have just the two at the moment, an adorable pineapple and crab. Two motifs, might I add, that are absent from the Anthropologie range.

It is the pineapple tumblers that first caught my eye, while they don't have the same handcrafted credentials as the icon juice glasses they are one of the best dupes I've seen. They have a weighty bottom and pretty coloured glass detailing, and are sold individually so you can mix and match motifs.

I'm planning to pick up a set of two of the Primark glasses, which will still cost me less than what I'd have spent on just one of the Anthropologie glasses.

The main downside is that the Primark glasses are only available to pick up in store. If you don't live near a Primark these are the next best alternatives I have found.

Do you prefer the bestselling Anthropologie version or the alternatives?

Last weekend I made the fatal error of stepping into Primark for 'just a quick look'. Of course, we all know that promising to window shop always results in making a purchase - particularly when Primark Home's tableware offering is this good.

I was in a mad dash to buy everything I needed for hosting on Easter Sunday before the shops closed and while this sometimes results in rushed purchases you regret, this time around I found the exact vision for my Spring tablescape right in front of my eyes.

Primark continue to surprise us with their on-trend homeware that looks so much more expensive than it is. Their new luxury homeware collection caught my eye, but I was after a slightly more colourful and chintzy style - here's what I found, plus how I styled it.

I'm a huge believer in a high-low approach when it comes to shopping for homeware. You don't have to spend a fortune on table linens, placemats and serving dishes, particularly if you're just starting to build a collection like I am. While I invested in the Our Place crockery set, these are the only dishes I own so any tableware for special occasions has to complement it.

Luckily I opted for a neutral crockery set which gives me so much flexibility in choosing more colourful, affordable tableware to curate a high-end look for less. This is exactly what I found in Primark. I love more traditional styles of homeware with lots of block print pattern and natural textures, so their edit of 'Coastal Luxe' pieces was perfect.

Laying the table when hosting or even just for special family dinners is so much more than just preparing a space to eat. It provides the opportunity to experiment with decor and really sets the mood for your event.

While I love experimenting with different pieces of tableware together, I also don't have much space in my small kitchen to house it all, so finding pieces that fit together is key. The beauty of this Coastal collection from Primark is that it can be used on it's own for a simple day-to-day tablecloth or in conjunction for a more over the top look.

I love what I chose and can't wait to go back to explore their other collections when I have more time - I have my eye on these Amalfi-inspired sardine plates that I think would look amazing hanging on a wall.

You can’t beat an elevated basic - we all know this fashion rule. But Primark has taken this motto to homeware with the launch of their brand new collection, The Edit, and I was stunned by its designer good looks.

You’ve probably heard of The Edit with the brand’s affordable luxe clothing line. Primark has now extended its range into the latest home decor trends - and it’s perfect for achieving the minimlauxe aesthetic at home.

Featuring luxury bedding and towelling, home fragrance, glassware and tableware, The Edit is an elevated take on Primark Home. It is a capsule selection made up of timeless pieces, and every detail has been elevated. The pillows are described as plumper and have a heavier fill. The towels are thicker, heavier and more absorbent. The glassware is lighter, and the scents are said to last longer.

What to buy

This drop has a holiday focus, so you can expect to spot lots of palm prints and creamy beiges. These are my top picks from the luxe-looking new collection.

Of course, the elevation in quality means an elevation in price, but Primark’s The Edit is still a great purse-friendly collection, rivalling many luxury brands.

The 500 Thread Count Super King Duvet is the most expensive thing in the range, costing £75. Now, I wasn’t expecting this from Primark, so I was a little sceptical. The set includes pillowcases, is 100% cotton and has a satin finish, so I do think it’s a cheaper alternative compared to luxury brands such as The White Company - but until I try it for myself, I can't vouch that it's better than our favourite luxury brands.

The Edit has launched in 39 stores across the UK and is available on Primark’s click and collect service.

Today, Primark is launching its first ever homeware collection inspired by Pinterest trends and created in collaboration with the popular visual search and discovery platform that we all know and love. Is this the partnership of dreams? Quite possibly!

Dropping just in time for the new spring season, the collection’s price points start at just £2.50, making it both affordable, and unbelievably on trend. It’s organised into three ranges inspired by a featured trend - Cosy Cottage, Dainty Decor and Minimaluxe.

Here at Ideal Home, Pinterest is one of our first go-tos when searching for inspiration and home decor trends – and this goes for Primark and its team, too, which is how this collab came about.

‘This is the first time Primark is officially launching a Pinterest-inspired new spring home collection,’ says Sinead McDonagh, head of design at Primark. ‘But at Primark, and myself included, like millions of others, we are huge Pinterest fans for home inspiration. I use it personally, and I also use it when I'm researching a new collection for Primark Home.'

Matt Siberry, head of home at Pinterest, adds, ‘From my perspective, this opportunity felt very natural to us and Primark. We see so many millions of people coming to Pinterest every month to find home inspiration and figure out how they want to curate their lives. This partnership was a nice way of bridging that gap to provide inspiration, but also find those budget-friendly prices and that opportunity.’

The collection is available to shop in Primark physical stores, as well as online through both Pinterest and Primark for click and collect.

What are the Pinterest trends that inspired the collection?

The collection is made up of three trends based on Pinterest’s wealth of data as to what its users are searching for. Despite the Pinterest Predicts trend report for 2025 coming out just a few months ago, the featured trends in the Primark collab are in fact not the Pinterest Predicts trends.

‘Pinterest Predicts is our global report, and we have to make sure that takes into account global trends, as well as future-facing,' explains Matt. 'This collection with Primark is very much inspired by a deeper insight to a UK-specific audience, but also more around spring.'

So firstly, we have the very heavily spring-inspired trend called Cosy Cottage, filled with romantic floral motifs, pastels, frills and even ladybirds, all referencing the popular cottagecore trend. This trend is based on Pinterest searches for terms like ‘cosy cottage bedroom’ which has seen a 170% increase and ‘modern cottage living room’ with a 100% rise in searches.

Then, there is the dopamine decor-filled and super playful, feminine Dainty Decor trend: think all things pink, with a healthy dose of bows, cherries and cakes (in cushion form). This trend is the result of searches around ‘whimsical bedroom’ with a 130% rise, ‘pink bow’ with 160% increase and ‘girly bathroom’ that’s searched 95% more now than three months ago.

And lastly, the more grown-up Minimaluxe champions a pared-back, sophisticated aesthetic injected with earthy tones that are dominating bedroom and living room trends this year as Pinterest searches for ‘earthy colour palette’ and ‘cream and beige bedroom’ have both seen a 120% rise, while ‘luxury living room’ searches have increased by 115%.

But even though the collection is not directly based on the Pinterest Predicts trends, you can definitely find some references to them in the new range.

‘One of the big Pinterest Predicts trends in home this year is Primary Play, which is all about bold colours and playful design. And in terms of Cosy Cottage, if you look at the collection, it does have these vibrant and whimsical home pieces and patterns in it,’ Matt at Pinterest says.

Which pieces are predicted to sell out first?

With homeware pieces spanning everything from cute tableware to cosy bedding and even bathroom accessories, the collection covers almost all the possible bases.

If you have your sight set on some specific pieces, I recommend snapping them up as soon as possible – as many are pretty much guaranteed to sell out fast. All of the chic bedding is expected to sell out first, especially the toile de jouy bedding. In addition to that, these are the predicted bestsellers according to Sinead at Primark.

You don’t even have to restrict yourself by sticking to only one trend as both Matt and Sinead say they lend themselves perfectly to mixing and matching. And if you’re not quite sure whether some of your favourite pieces will work well together, you can use the new Pinterest Collages tool – it also gives you the chance to win a £500 voucher if you use even just one product from this collection in your collage.

Tied in a burgundy velvet ribbon, the Faux Berries and Foliage Christmas Swag looks surprisingly natural. One would assume that Primark's faux flowers don’t match the real ones but when it comes to Christmas, they are doing a great job.

Similarly the Faux Foliage and Berry LED Wreath looks far more expensive than £18. And the best for last, the LED Faux Christmas Tree in Jute Bag, is a great size for your festive tablescape or small rooms. This year, Scandi style trees have proven incredibly popular as people learn to sparser, smaller and even twig trees.

When it comes to budget-friendly, trendy homeware, we know we can always rely on Primark. But who knew that the brand can also create timeless, elegant furniture – as the Primark rattan bench is the perfect example of. Moreover, how about the fact that it’s the spitting image of a high-end design that’s over four times its price?

That’s right! Championing a current home decor trend leaning towards vintage and retro styles, the Primark Wooden Rattan Bench is sold for mere £65, while the high-end lookalike, the Wood and Rattan Bench from Zara Home, costs £299.99. We’d say that’s quite a dramatic difference.

Especially since the benches look borderline identical – both designs are made of wood with their slightly curved seats covered in cane webbing, which both companies simply refer to as rattan. The main difference? The Zara version is a bit longer, measuring 140 centimetres in width compared to Primark’s 95 centimetres.

It’s somewhat incredible that everything from the Primark rattan furniture range is actually priced under £100. All the while looking like high-end or designer pieces, including the bench in question, which would work perfectly by the entrance so that we can sit on it while putting on or taking off our shoes. It would also look great at the foot of the bed, as Primark styled it.

As mentioned, vintage, timeless styles like the 'kitschens' home decor trend are currently having a moment in interiors – and furniture with rattan or cane webbing fits right into this trend.

‘There has been a significant trend towards vintage and retro aesthetics in interior design,’ says Lucy Mather, design expert from Arighi Bianchi. ‘Cane webbing, a material with historical roots, fits perfectly into this revival, offering a touch of nostalgia and timeless style.’

Alex Stubbs, Flitch interior stylist, adds, ‘Cane furniture exudes elegance due to its intricate craftsmanship and natural texture, which add a subtle sophistication. Its light, airy appearance blends well with various interior styles, enhancing its timeless appeal.’

And the mere appearance of intricate craftsmanship makes furniture with cane webbing inserts look expensive – even when it’s not, as is the case with the £65 Primark bench. The one downside? It's only available in Primark's physical stores as the retailer doesn't provide online shopping at all.

But either way, we’ll never say no to getting the high-end look without having to pay the high-end price.

With last week giving us a glimpse of summer weather, we’re even more obsessed with the idea of outdoor living. And with that comes the need to spruce up and decorate our outdoor spaces, no matter how small or big. With 2024 being the year of cool and pretty lighting, Primark’s new LED lantern, which is suitable both for outdoor and indoor use, holds a lot of appeal.

Especially since this both aesthetically pleasing and practical garden lighting idea is the perfect lookalike for La Redoute’s Fanosa 21cm High Indoor/Outdoor Lantern. Only Primark's LED Hanging Lantern is £6, while La Redoute’s version is £26.

Which is, of course, a whole £20 price difference! And if they were placed next to each other, we would really struggle to be able to tell which is which. That’s how similar they actually are.

‘LED bulbs are ideal for evenly illuminating large spaces and preventing dark corners,’ says Matthew Currington, technical director at The Lighting Superstore.

Julian Page, head of design at BHS, adds, ‘Outdoor lights offer the advantage of adding visual interest and ambience to your outdoor area, enhancing its aesthetic appeal in a way that makes your space stand out from others.’

The lantern shape makes these designs look whimsical but the execution is modern at the same time. Both are set within a plastic frame available in multiple colours, fitted with a top handle, which makes it easy to carry from place to place, as well as hang it in an elevated spot.

The only downside of the Primark dupe is that just like anything else from the brand, it’s only available to purchase from one of the physical stores as Primark doesn’t sell its products online. So if you don’t have a Primark store near you or perhaps prefer one of the colourways of La Redoute’s lantern, then you can go for that one instead. As long as you don’t mind the more premium price.

But either of these will look just as lovely illuminating your garden this summer!

It’s becoming very clear that the disco trend is not going anywhere anytime soon. And the disco movement has also settled on a new shape - yes, that’s right, it’s not just about disco balls anymore. Let us introduce you to disco mushrooms, pioneered by the likes of Primark.

In fact, we're obsessed with Primark’s new disco-inspired range including the petite disco mushroom decorations as the budget retailer leads this brand new home decor trend that we’ll be seeing a lot of throughout the year. We’re calling it.

Primark knows how to grab our attention with stylish designs as the brand has done with the likes of its boucle tub chair. And now we can't ignore the disco mushroom decor that the retailer posted on its Instagram a few days ago.

While the item is available in Primark’s physical stores as we speak, it’s so new that it hasn’t reached the company’s website yet for you to view it online. Of course nothing can actually be purchased on the site anyway - it just provides customers with information about its products, including which branches have them in stock.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of months, you’re sure to have heard of the Stanley cup that’s going viral on TikTok. The travel tumbler is a status symbol at this point, which regularly sells out and causes physical fights to break out over its limited drops. So it’s no surprise that other retailers are producing Stanley cup dupes to get in on the action, with Primark included.

Loved for its extra-large size with a capacity of 40 ounces, which amounts to 1.1 litres, the Stanley cup has become a beloved kitchen trend, as well as a trusted hydration companion for the gym, the office and the road. And it's only showing how invested people have become when it comes to their appliances and other utilitarian accessories, as also demonstrated by Lidl's trendy leopard-print kettle.

Fitted with a handle, a reusable straw and a rotating lid, the Stanley cup is also equipped with vacuum insulation which is what keeps your cold drink icy cold and hot drinks nice and warm for hours on end. But now, most don’t really care about its fancy abilities but rather after its instantly recognisable robust look. And an almost identical lookalike for just £8 can assist in that. In fact, the Primark dupe is becoming almost just as popular as the original.

The Stanley Quencher H2.O FlowState Tumbler - as is its full name and which is available on Amazon for £47.39 or more, depending on the colour - reached its viral stardom after a TikTok video by @danielle with over 9 million likes showed the cup intact in a destroyed car that had previously caught on fire - and the stainless steel tumbler still had ice inside it.

The many raving customer reviews further support it's impressive credentials, as one Amazon reviewer wrote, ‘When I say this cup will keep your drink cold! I mean it will keep it cold! I left ice in mine for over 24 hours in the house too and it was still ice when I came to empty it! Very sturdy. Huge. And lovely looking!’

A spokesperson at Lakeland, one of the retailers that stocks the famous cup, says, 'It’ll come as no surprise of the popularity of the Stanley tumblers we are stocking, we initially put these on pre-order, nearly selling out before the stock even landed! We have gone on to sell out since, just restocking recently but selling fast! The flip straw cup seems to be particularly going down a treat for the really popular colour rose quartz and the leak proof design.'

The popularity of the cup has also resulted in several accessories being developed, such as an attachable snack bowl like this one from Amazon, and many dupes as well.

Primark’s homeware products have been hitting the spot lately – whether it’s the brand’s boucle headboard that is quickly selling out or its new boucle tub chair that’s on our wish lists at the moment.

And the Primark Stainless Steel Travel Mug, which is the perfect dupe for the Stanley Quencher, is no exception. The budget-friendly retailer shared a video on its TikTok in December of the travel mug and it’s attracted almost 3 million views and many purchases. 

But while there are many similarities between the two, there are also differences. 

They are both made from stainless steel, equipped with a handle and a reusable straw, the Primark version comes with a stainless steel straw, while the Stanley cup has a clear plastic one. The Primark mug is also smaller with a capacity of 590ml or 20 ounces, which is half of the Stanley cup’s capacity. Nonetheless, these differences haven’t stopped the masses from including the £8 travel mug in their Primark hauls.

Fans on Instagram are raving over Primark's newest homeware range – we think it's a surefire way to give your home a mood-boosting makeover, and some items, in particular, have us all eyes on it.

One of our favourite budget stores, Primark, has recently been making waves in the world of homeware, allowing home decor trends to be more accessible by releasing affordable but equally unique home decor pieces – and this mood-boosting range takes the cake, it's no wonder that fans are gushing over it on social media.

Primark mood-boosting homeware

Primark's newest homeware collection boasts bright, bold colours in the form of bite-size decor pieces such as painted patterned dinnerware, vases, rugs, trinkets, wall art (which we've seen to improve well-being in the home), and more.

Fans have taken to Primark Home's Instagram to showcase their obsession over the new collection, with one saying, 'Well colour me obsessed,' and many exclaiming how much they love the colourful range.

We think it's very attuned to the trending concept of dopamine decorating, as more and more have we seen people keen to bring colour into their homes to inspire specific feelings and moods within a space.

'Colour has an amazing ability to influence our mood and impact how we feel, particularly in our homes where we spend so much of our time,' explains Chelsea Clark, head of brand at Lust Home.

We've been in the know that cool-toned blues and greens that reflect nature are known to help soothe and relax, like M&S' new bedding.

'Brighter colours on the other hand encourage optimism and increase feelings of happiness. Yellow tones in particular are noted for creating a feeling of joy and boosting our energy, whereas bright oranges, blues and greens provide an invigorating touch to a room.'

Our favourites from the range

Out of everything we've currently seen in the homeware range, however, there are a particular set of items that we've been eyeing up extra – the patterned dinnerware, including various bowls, plates, serving dishes, and mugs.

There's definitely something about this handcrafted and personal style that has many a shopper hooked. Dayna Isom Johnson, trend expert at Etsy explains, 'As our world becomes increasingly automated, shoppers are embracing handcrafted styles – celebrating both craftsmanship and individuality – as an alternative to mass-produced pieces.'

'Hand-painted ceramics are especially on the rise, with more and more shoppers turning to these organic shapes and whimsical designs to add personality and artistic flair to their homes.'

Starting from £3.50 a piece and available in selected Primark stores right now, we think these ceramics are oh-so-cute and definitely a must-buy as the spring season approaches. We think they'd look great accompanying a garden party idea.

Primark has announced that is it rolling out the Primark Click and Collect service to a third of its stores across the UK. So more fans can now shop the brands striking homeware without hunting for pieces in-store.

Primark officially launched its online Click + Collect service in 25 stores across the UK late last year. It focused on selected stores in the North West of England, South and West Yorkshire and North Wales in the initial rollout. However, after the success of the scheme, it is rolling out the service to 32 more stores across London this Summer.

The new service is music to the ears of any bargain hunter who (like me) keeps an eager eye on Primark Home's Instagram, only to be disappointed when they can't find it in-store. 

Now shoppers can browse and buy online from Primark's extensive collection of homeware products for some gorgeous budget decorating ideas.

Primark remains a top competitor for elevating your home without having to spend a fortune. On a recent trip to Primark's Tottenham Court Road Homeware department, we spied everything from a stylish boucle bench to stacks of chic rattan storage baskets. We even treated ourselves to the Primark-led strip lights Instagram has been raving about as a savvy kitchen lighting idea.

Primark launches Click + Collect service

The Click + Collect trial in November allowed Primark fans will be able to shop a select range of kids, baby and nursery products. Shoppers could browse and shop new items from Primark's partners including Disney for nursery decorating ideas and toys. 

'We’re really encouraged by how the trial has landed with customers, who tell us they value the choice and convenience Click + Collect is offering them,' says Paul Marchant, CEO of Primark.

'We’re also seeing strong demand for the service outside the trial region and it’s helping us reach new customers too. This gives us the confidence to take this trial to the next level and expand it further to more stores to understand how the service can work for a broader range of customers. We’ll continue to monitor the trial closely as we look to complement the experience and offer we have in our stores.'

How does Primark Click + Collect work?

Once you have browsed online and added your selection of items to your basket, you can check out as you would normally on other online shopping platforms. In this instance, however, you'll be met with a page that allows you to choose a day to collect your items from your chosen store. Do note though that there will be a £10 minimum order value to make the basket eligible for Click + Collect.

You can choose a day for collection up to 7 days in advance and will be available for pick up in-store from 2 days after the order has been placed. You will be able to collect your order from a dedicated Click + Collect desk, as well as pay for any other items you have picked up in-store on the way.

If you are still outside the available Click + Collect areas don't worry as you can still check out the Primark website to browse the current ranges and check the availability of products using the stock-checker before heading in-store. 

What Primark stores is Click + Collect offered in?

The new Click + Collect will be available in 57 stores across the UK from Summer spanning from the North West of England, South and West Yorkshire, North Wales and expanding across London. To name a couple of stores this includes Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Blackburn, Carlisle, and Wrexham.

The Click + Collect service has also been implemented with the hope to promote a greener culture within the brand, as Primark wishes to minimise excess packaging on the product, using paper wrap bands wherever possible. All orders will be delivered to stores in brown paper packaging or cardboard boxes sealed with paper tape, that can easily be recycled at home.
