Earlier this week, QVC dropped a new collection of outdoor furniture inspired by the 1970s. Aptly named the QVC Studio 70 garden furniture range, referencing New York’s iconic Studio 54 nightclub popular in the 70s, I got to see the new pieces in person – and I’ve selected the top 9 pieces that I think are worth investing in.

The star of the collection is undoubtedly the Garden Stories reclining sunlounger which is one of the most stylish, well-priced (it’s selling for £140 a pop) and overall best sunloungers I’ve seen in a while. And even though the loungers were sadly not present at the collection preview, I did get to see and feel the Garden Stories chair with a matching stool which are made from the same materials, in the same colourways and feature an overall coordinating design.

Given the 1970s inspiration, the collection is tied together by a bold colour scheme – vibrant shades are very much one of the biggest garden furniture trends of the year so I'm here for the olive green paired with burnt orange, burgundy, sunshine yellow and terracotta balanced by neutral ivory.

But the 70s style wasn’t just apparent in the chosen shades – the nostalgic patterns champion this decade, too. From retro florals to striped garden furniture which is also a major trend this year, QVC gave these 70s motifs a more modern look fit for 2026 and beyond.

I love being Ideal Home’s Cleaning Editor and Vacuums Expert, but I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t jealous of my colleagues who get to explore the prettier, decor-focused side of the home. After all, cleaning tools and vacuums aren’t known for their looks - unless you count the pastel-perfect SiMPLi Countertop Vacuum Cleaner for £12 at QVC, of course.

While I’ll always have time for the best vacuum cleaners thanks to their whole-home cleaning power, I’ve been obsessed with mini countertop vacuums since last year when I finally got my hands on Lakeland’s £9.99 viral countertop model. Since then, I can confidently say that I’ve used it every single day for small messes and spills.

But while my mini countertop vacuum is boring and white (like basically every other appliance out there), I’ve spotted that QVC is selling pastel-coloured alternatives in dusty blue, mauve, or sage. And as you can imagine, they’re going straight in my basket…

Last year, Lakeland won me over with its mini cleaning tools - most of which I still use today. The retailer’s £4 mini mop is still getting daily use in my bathroom, and the mini countertop vacuum has allowed me to clean up toast crumbs, spilt coffee grounds, and even dust my car dashboard every day since.

The countertop cordless I use is tiny, lightweight and portable (it’s about the same size as my palm) and comes with little brushes on the bottom to collect the loose debris it comes into contact with. It also comes with a USB cable, making charging easier than ever. But as the white plastic aesthetic doesn’t mesh well with my kitchen, I always hide it in the cupboard.

The SiMPLi Countertop Vacuum Cleaners are alternatives that would make a statement, though - especially if you want to copy the things people with tidy coffee corners always have. Coming in three pastel colourways, this QVC countertop vacuum offers all the same features and cleaning capabilities… but it’ll just look so much better doing it.

As I’m a huge lover of green, I’m personally leaning towards the sage colourway for my kitchen, but I really do love these mini countertop vacuums so much I might even buy the mauve as a home office crumb-buster too. But with the dusty blue also available, it’s a tough choice.

Of course, I wouldn’t be doing my job properly if I didn’t tell you that the QVC countertop vacuum is a little bit pricier than the Lakeland model I own. It’s £12.99 compared to Lakeland’s £9.99, and you’ll need to pay for postage and packaging too (which you can swerve by choosing the free Click + Collect option at Lakeland).

However, the QVC option does offer more by way of design and the stunning colour options, and it even comes with a little nozzle attachment for more targeted cleaning and a cleaning brush to keep the mini countertop vacuum in full running order.

Because of this, I don’t think the few extra pounds are worth it - especially when it’s so affordable to begin with. After all, you can’t buy too many cleaning tools for under £13.

This week it’s been almost impossible to avoid the Amazon Prime Day Sale, but I’m here to tell you I’ve found better deals for cult brands such as Ninja, Nespresso and Le Crueset in the QVC sale.

While it’s true the Amazon Prime Day Sale has some incredible deals (and you should definitely check it out), QVC is an underrated brand that you’d be foolish to ignore.

Now until 11 July, QVC is having a huge sale that rivals Amazon, even beating the retail giant on price in many cases. These are my top picks from the QVC sale, featuring some Ideal Home’s best-rated brands - and guess what, they’re even cheaper than on Amazon!

I love a collab – and there have been many good ones dropping recently. Amanda Holden’s latest BundleBerry capsule collection of homewares, created in partnership with QVC and available exclusively through the site is the most recent one to catch my eye.

I got to see (and feel) the BundleBerry by Amanda Holden collection for QVC for myself IRL earlier today – and I certainly have my favourite pieces that look far more luxurious than what their price tag would suggest.

Spanning a range of 14 products with prices starting from just £13.92 for a photo frame, the summer-ready offering (that will look great in your home beyond this season) fulfills the ethos Amanda's BundleBerry has always stood for in the whole eight years it's been around – combining playfulness with elegance at an affordable price point.

Championing current colour and home decor trends, the range is defined by a tight, earthy colour palette and one particular motif – the chequerboard pattern.

'I'm a massive fan of print and geometric pattern. So throughout BundleBerry's history, we've always featured what I always say reminds me of the 1970s and 80s. I lived on a housing estate, we didn't have any money but I vividly remember my mum would occasionally throw things like this together. I remember choosing tiles for a kitchen splashback and it was all these colours and textures and pattern,' Amanda said on the topic of choosing the chequerboard motif as the hero pattern of this capsule.

Chequers can be seen across the collection’s chic rugs and throws, as well as taking the form of tiles on photo frames and the frame of a wall mirror design – spoiler alert, most of these are on my top picks list!

Apart from the chequerboard motif, the on-trend colour scheme of earthy terracottas, pinks, cream and neutral shades - one of the biggest paint trends of 2025 - is what ties the range together, seen on everything from the furniture (yes, there’s a comfy accent chair and the sculptural concrete side table included!) to soft furnishings and home accessories.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge’s own home is very often a source of inspiration for all of us at Ideal Home, whether that’s Amanda’s guest bedroom ceiling design or her daughter’s room makeover.

So, having a piece (or two) that bears Amanda Holden’s stamp of approval in my home is something that I can certainly get behind, especially as QVC itself is a treasure trove of hidden gems, too.

QVC is often overlooked when shopping for garden furniture. Although I have written about garden furniture and outdoor living trends for over six years, I only rediscovered the QVC garden range a few months ago.

It has become one of the best places to buy garden furniture for my new small outdoor space. It offers high-end looking pieces that I can *actually* afford on a tight budget that's still recovering from buying my first home.

QVC launched their sorbet garden collection last month, which was packed with gorgeous pastel coloured pieces. However, if you dig a little deeper into the website, there are even more bargains on stylish pieces of outdoor furniture that look so much more expensive than they are.

The My Garden Stories Monaco 4 Piece Chairs and Table Bistro Set was what first drew my attention back to attention back to QVC. I've been obsessed with sling-style seating since trying out the sellout John Lewis Marcy Garden chair.

The Monaco set is a great alternative. It's on sale for £300, which is a steal of a price for a full four-piece set that wouldn't look out of place on the terrace of a fancy hotel.

Opting for light, fresh colours is an easy way to inject youthfulness into a space and within your garden, pastels can brighten the most overcast of days. QVC is an underrated brand which can make it easy to overlook, and like John Lewis, QVC delivers on quality. Both chairs are crafted with sturdy frames and plush cushions, making both a great choice for relaxing on a sunny day.

The Marcy Sling Garden Chair is made from weather-resistant material, and while the QVC lounge chair doesn’t mention whether the material is also weather-resistant, it does come with a cover so you can protect it when not in use. Furthermore, both chairs are adjustable, so you can lounge as desired.

The QVC Lounge Chair is bright and colourful. Its pastel colourway is an easy way to brighten your garden and put a smile on your face. But if it’s not to your liking, I’ve rounded up a three more great alternatives.

Shop sling chairs

The approach of summer means the revival of everyone’s favourite garden furniture trend - the humble egg chair. This year, shoppers have been going crazy for Dunelm’s Santorini Egg Chair (£249) - but we think that we’ve found a budget alternative that’s just as good. Introducing the QVC Oslo Collapsing Hanging Egg Chair…

QVC is an underrated website, with the Ideal Home team frequently impressed by it’s bargain buys. And now the time has come to select the best garden furniture deals, we think it’s only fair to throw QVC’s hat into the ring.

The Oslo collapsing hanging egg chair in soft sage green is currently on sale for £199.80 (down from £240) making it one of the cheapest garden egg chairs on the market at the moment. Here’s how it compares to the viral Dunelm Santorini egg chair.

It’s true the Oslo collapsing hanging chair isn’t as bright as the Santorini chair in soft Jade. The Santorini chair is available in blue and white shades, terracotta hues and a vibrant multi-coloured red, teal and yellow - making it perfect for your boho garden ideas.

While the Oslo chair is available in more muted sage, natural and grey, I think it is perfect if you’re aiming for a more peaceful look. For many of us, gardens act as a place to relax, so it’s always worth opting for a calming hue when selecting your garden furniture.

But I do think QVC’s Oslo chair is also an excellent choice - especially if you’re looking for an affordable yet quality item. Like the Santorini chair, it has a steel, powder-coated frame making it weather-resistant, but I think it’s collapsable element sets it apart from Dunelm in terms of practicality.

I have a green lamp in my living room, and it's always the first thing people spot and compliment when they walk into my flat. But my favourite part comes after the compliment when I see the surprised look on people's faces after telling them it's from QVC.

Yes, QVC, the shopping channel, but the QVC I've been using is online. It is the place I purchased my lamp and a few other bits for my home, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Despite being such a well-known brand, it is one of the most underrated shopping websites for picking up everything from kitchen appliances to homeware at bargain prices. Over the years, I have picked up a bargain on the best air fryer, my Ninja Dual Zone Foodi, a Hotel Chocolate Velvetiser, and some beautiful plant pots.

My lamp came from the QVC own-brand called 'Home Stories'. While my lamp is no longer available, there are plenty of other hidden gems to be found, especially in the collections by Kelly Hoppen, Amanda Holden and Sara Davies.

I've rounded up just a few of my recent finds on QVC to give you an idea of what you've been missing by sleeping on this brand.

Hidden gems

If you're worried about shopping on QVC, you needn't be. One of the reasons I keep going back is the incredible customer service, if something goes missing in the post or isn't what you expected, they will refund you or send out a replacement asap.

I'm sure you've got the message by now that I'm a serious fan — have you been missing out on this underrated shopping site?

You probably don’t need me to tell you that Dyson vacuum cleaners are pricey, but for a limited time only, you can buy a best-selling Dyson for under £230 - a bargain price I don’t think I’ve ever seen before. And it’s not the only Dyson vacuum that’s had its prices slashed, either.

We have Dyson to thank for many of the best vacuum cleaners on the market today, and as someone who’s tested a bunch of them, I know just how expensive they can be. And while I’ve always believed that if you buy cheap you buy twice for vacuums, I appreciate that Dyson doesn’t exactly cater to everyone’s budget.

In fact, Dyson vacuum cleaners typically range from around £350 all the way up to £800 for the best cordless vacuums. So, the fact that QVC has currently slashed the price of the bestselling Dyson V8 Advanced model to just £299.96 is a BIG deal (quite literally). But as sales like this don’t come around often, you’ll have to act fast if you want to grab this deal.

QVC currently has a mega-Dyson sale for customers to enjoy, and while six highly-rated cordless and corded offerings have been discounted (more on those later), it’s the £229.96 Dyson V8 Advanced that really caught my eye.

For starters, it’s virtually impossible to find a good vacuum for under £250 - even our top-rated Shark, the Shark Stratos Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner, retails at £429.99. And we all know from the Shark vs Dyson debate that Dyson is typically the more expensive of the two.

Secondly, it’s almost identical to the Dyson V8 Absolute that I use as my chosen everyday vacuum at home - a feat that’s particularly impressive considering it’s quite literally my job as Ideal Home’s Certified Expert in Training in Vacuums to test multiple vacuum cleaners a month. Yet, the V8 is the model I keep coming back to time and time again thanks to its impressive suction power, lightweight manoeuvrability, and handy accessories.

There are a few tiny differences between the Dyson V8 Absolute and the Dyson V8 Advanced, but the most important details are exactly the same. It has a run time of up to 40 minutes, 130 air watts of max suction power (which isn’t quite as impressive as the Dyson Gen5detect's 280 air watts, but still an above-average level of suction power for vacuums in Europe), a 0.54 L bin volume, a motorbar cleaner head with stiff nylon bristles and anti-static carbon fibre filaments, point-and-shoot bin emptying, wall-docking station, and the tell-tale sleek Dyson design that we all know and love.

Sure, the Dyson V8 may be one of the oldest from the brand’s repertoire, but what it lacks in bells and whistles, it still makes up for in terms of suction power, general performance, and affordability. And if you’re willing to trade lasers and LCD screens for a no-frills-attached Dyson vacuum cleaner that gets the job done without any faff, then I really couldn’t recommend it enough. The 11,000 customers who have left 4.4-star reviews on the Dyson website seem to agree, too.

More than anything, though, this reduced price really is something to write home about. Even the brand-spanking Dyson Car + Boat Handheld Vacuum Cleaner from QVC (which we’re currently in the process of reviewing, so keep an eye out on our best handheld vacuum guide for that) will set you back £249.99 if you were to buy directly from the source. So, the fact that you can buy a full-size, powerful Dyson vacuum for just £229.96 is incredibly impressive.

Not only that, but currently, there’s free postage and packaging, and you can even use a promotional code on QVC to get an extra £5 off. But as is the case with shopping channels, once the stock is gone… the deal is done. So, I’d suggest taking advantage of it as soon as possible. Or if you’re looking for another QVC Dyson bargain but have a little extra cash to spend, you can check out these alternatives instead.

Amazon Prime Day has some competition in the air fryer game as QVC has announced that they have an incredible offer on the Ninja Foodi Max 9.5L Dual Zone Air Fryer with Smart Cook.

When it comes to the best dual-zone air fryers, Ninja holds the crown. Usually, Amazon holds the crown for the best Ninja deals, and while they have some goodies on offer at the moment as part of the best Amazon Prime Day deals, we couldn't believe that QVC has managed to undercut even Amazon with exclusive 9.5l Ninja Dual Zone air fryer deal. 

They are selling the bigger, family-size 9.5L Ninja Dual Zone air fryer with smart cook probe for £180, £90 less than the retail price of £270. To put that into context, Amazon's 9.5L Ninja Dual zone air fryer is currently selling for £219, and it doesn't include the smart cook function. That makes QVC one of the cheapest places to buy a Ninja air fryer of this size at the moment.

I have been cooking with the Ninja Foodi Max 9.5L Dual Zone Air Fryer with Smart Cook9 for a few weeks now. At first, I was sceptical about adding such a big kitchen appliance to my home - my boyfriend called it 'Kitchen Darth Vader' - but it's earned its place and more in my small kitchen. 

Despite only being a two-person household, we've found the 9.5L size perfect for us (we're hungry people). However, QVC does claim that it should serve between 4 to 8 people. 

The beauty of the dual zone air fryer is that you can cook two different things, at different temperatures and sync up the timings. We've cooked up apple crumble (the best I've ever made!) and crispy matchstick chips at the same time for a Sunday dinner. It's also become our go-to for our at-home fake-away fish and chip dinners. 

The Ninja Foodi Max includes 6 functions, allowing you to air fryer, roast, bake, reheat, dehydrate and max crisp. The crispiness it can achieve is unrivalled, and I think better than my own. However, I found the reheat function the surprise standout feature which works brilliantly if you're reheating batch-cooked food. 

I must also give a special shout-out to the smart cooking system, which is the real bonus add-on in this deal. If you've ever been a little nervous/grossed out by the idea that an air fryer can cook a whole chicken in 30 minutes, this will put your mind at ease. 

The Digital Cooking Probe monitors the temperature of your steak, chicken, or whatever you fancy. You just need to choose your desired finish and the probe does all the work to cook the food perfectly.

If the 9.5L air fryer sounds a bit big for you or you're not quite ready to spend £180. Amazon has reduced the price of the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer, 7.6L from £219.99 to £151. It is the best price we've seen it anywhere and is one of Ninja's most popular sell-out air fryers.
