A bank of floor-to-ceiling Asia melamine cabinetry by Mobalpa emphasises the dramatic height of the kitchen. The dark shade of this run is contrasted with the cool, white hi-gloss units. Topped with Silestone, the peninsula acts as a breakfast bar under which Iris barstools from John Lewis sit.

Built-in appliances
Maximising storage was essential so good use has been made of potentially wasted space by placing cupboards on both sides of the peninsula. Two ovens set at waist height make lifting out roasting dishes easy while a built-in coffee machine and ultra-convenient water and ice dispenser sit above. All the appliances are by Electrolux.

Sink and taps
A Fragranite sink in Polar White by Franke complements the pale shade of the cabinetry, while recessed grooves have been cut into the worktop to air-dry items too large for the dishwasher. The blue glass Decoglaze splashback adds a touch of colour to the otherwise monochrome scheme. The tap is by Gessi.

Magic corner
Discreet pull-out storage makes the most of every inch of space in the kitchen.

Under-hob drawer
Drawers hidden under the Neff hob provide the perfect place to keep essential utensils close at hand, while the flush matt chrome handles of the units maintain the clean look.
