With its Italian design flair and playful sense of fun, the latest collection of Foscarini-Diesel lighting is sure to brighten up interiors
Ironic, unconventional, creative: Living from Diesel with Foscarini is a brand that practises what it believes in – customised products for the home, each with a unique style. The latest designs are no exception, with London’s Aram Store taking stock of the new editions in mid-May.
The Fork floor lamp takes its inspiration from the casual, but crafted look of Diesel’s signature jeans, with stitched detailing on the fabric shade. Its anodised metal stand is jointed, so it is extremely flexible and can be orientated through 360 degrees. Available in Grey or Ivory, the Fork is priced at £706 at Aram Store.
Duii is named after one of Donald Duck’s mischievious young nephews, so it’s little wonder this desk lamp lives by the rule of ‘All work and no play makes a dull boy’. Made in glass and polycarbonate, the Duii is held together by wing screws like bits of Meccano, while its diffuser conjures up a host of influences – from a vintage car’s headlamps to a futuristic robot. Priced at £340, the Duii comes in either this cool grey or a vibrant yellow.
Perfect for use in living rooms and studies, the Fork and Duii will add a playful designer touch to any interior – after all, when light fittings look this good, there’s no point hiding them under a bushel…
