French design collective Petite Friture was another must-see exhibitor at this year’s MAISON&OBJECT furniture show in Paris – and one of its stars was undoubtedly Constance Guisset.

Having won Creator of the Year at MAISON&OBJECT 2010, Constance has gone from strength to strength and previewed some stunning new pieces this January.

Her Vertigo pendant lamp, made from ultra-light fibreglass and polyurethane ribbons, has an ethereal quality perfectly suited to both modern and period spaces.

Available in two sizes and four colourways (Black, Green, White and the Copper shown here), the Vertigo costs around £567 for the small version and £641 for the large.

Another of Constance’s gorgeous designs is the Francis glass, aluminium and epoxy wall mirror. Inspired by oxidised antique mirror glass, the convex surface displays a shifting pattern of colour. Beautiful and beguiling, the Francis is priced at around £406.

The Francis is also available in a pocket version, which comes in two colours – Blue and Pink – and a protective suede pouch. At around £31, it would make an ideal gift.
