  • Native American accents give the designer's latest cushions, rugs and throws a tribal spirit

After a summer spent glamping it up around the country, the Livingetc team has been looking forward to giving our interiors an autumnal revamp.

Thankfully, one of our favourite designers, Suki Cheema, has ridden to the rescue with his latest collection, inspired by the colours, prints and motifs of the Navajo Nation in the Midwestern United States.

Each piece is handcrafted using Aari (embossed) threadwork to create an authentic tribal look with vibrant hues of fuchsia and orange adding a contemporary appeal.

Ranging from the striking monochrome designs of the Bark rug (W1.52 x L2.44m), £775, made of pure New Zealand wool, shown above, and the Merino wool Bark throw, £315, shown top, to the cotton canvas Kasa cushion in Fuchsia (45.7 x 45.7cm), shown below, £105, we love the Western Collection’s blend of traditional style combined with on-trend hues.

Certain to appeal to the native spirit in all of us, Suki Cheema’s Navajo line has us dancing round the bonfire with delight.
