Pretty vacant – Johnny Rotten’s punk pad is up for rent. Take the rock star tour

Former home of the Sex Pistols front man is on the market for a cool £5,612 a month

Fancy living the rock-and-roll lifestyle?
Look no further than this London pad, the former home of Sex Pistols front man Johnny Rotten.

Rotten’s converted maisonette has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and two large reception rooms for all the band practice space you need.

Nestled in one of London’s – naturally – most expensive postcodes, the property sits on SW10’s Gunter Grove, a stone’s throw from the King’s Road.

It’s listed on Zoopla for £5,612 a month (£1,295 per week)
and comes with private roof terrace for long summer nights.

Allegedly the scene of many a raucous celebrity party (and Rotten presumably actually spread butter on his crumpets in the kitchen in preparation for that slightly odd advert), the maisonette has had a swanky high-end makeover before going on the market.

Rotten, real name John Lydon, owned the entire five-floor property in the 1970s. After he sold in 1981, the building was divided up into two apartments.

The listing for the pad online describes the flat as: ‘A stunning newly refurbished three-bedroom duplex apartment with a incredible roof terrace.

‘Set in a converted Victorian house, the property has been completely refurbished and the interior designed to a high standard in a sleek and modern style.’

Oh, and one last thing – the flat comes complete with large feature fish tank in case that sways you when deciding to part with £5k a month…
