The upcycled furniture company launches a series of furniture-painting workshops

How to upcycle

Ever fancied bringing an old piece of furniture back to life, but had no idea where to start? Upcycled furniture company Ruby Rhino is now running a series of one-day workshops aimed at teaching furniture-restoring novices how to transform tired and outdated pieces into their own unique items. Topics covered on the mini course include choosing paint, brushes and other essential tools, as well as how to prepare, apply and create a wide range of paint effects and finishes.

The workshops are based in Lichfield, Staffordshire and run for one day. The cost of the course is £125 per person, and includes a small piece of furniture to take home, all materials, refreshments and a homemade lunch. For more information, visit Ruby Rhino.
