The Day-Time sofa by Flexform is an all-occasion sensation

As part of Chaplins' 20th-anniversary celebrations, the renowned design outlet unveils the Day-Time sofa by Flexform

Never one to stand still, Italian architect and furniture designer Antonio Citterio has come up with another great idea to help the rest of us slow down – the Day-Time sofa.

With its metal seat frame and wooden backrest enclosed in hide-leather and the seat and throw cushions filled with down and a resilient inner core, this is a sofa that’s made for serious loafing.

And if you can’t bear to drag yourself away at the end of the day, well no matter. The sides open out to allow the occupant to stretch out and enjoy a well-deserved snooze. After all, admiring such fine pieces of furniture is a full-time job for some fashionistas. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we just need to get down to a little light reading…

The Flexform Day-Time sofa by Antonio Citterio is available at Chaplins, priced from £7,940 (additional scatter cushions not included). Shown with the Flexform Jiff small table, from £795; and the Flexform Oliver side table, £925, both Chaplins.
