Pint-sized perfection: bag your tots a design classic with a new range of miniature furniture from Mini Eden

From an Eames-inspired chair to a Kartell Componibilli-themed storage unit, one Midlands-based kid's furniture company has created a whole range of design classics especially for children.

Everything’s cuter when it’s small, right? Cupcakes, kittens… you get our drift. Well imagine our delight when we discovered Mini Eden.

Naturally, things made for children are going to be smaller than their adult counterparts but rather than creating generic, run-of-the-mill kiddies’ beds and chairs Mini Eden has taken famous mid-century design classics and just, well, shrunk them.

One of our favourites is the Eames-style rocker chair. Mini Eden has taken an all time classic design and
replicated it for kids. It’s super stylish, super practical and, unlike
its inspirational parent, super affordable. And, as if you needed any
more reasons to add it to your online basket, it comes in seven great
colours so you’re bound to find one the little person in your life will
love.

As well as seating (you have to check out the French-inspired Cameron sofa, it’s adorable) there’s a great selection of beds and soft furnishings. Once again, classic design has been translated into something kid-friendly and fun.

The Mason bed is a great example of this – the deep buttoned detailing of the headboard gives this bed a traditional, classic look that is truly timeless… But while the designs and shapes have come from adult items of furniture, the colours are sure to appeal to kids – bright blues and reds, vibrant yellows and bold shades of orange and green.

Stylish storage solutions have also been scaled down – Kartell’s Componibilli-style storage units can now house toys and teddies, and are the perfect height for kids.

All in all, Mini Eden has proven that you don’t need to compromise on style or function when planning a space for children – it has combined both and we think you (and your mini me) are going to love them.
