Craft Corner: Decorative faux flower letter
Follow our step-by-step guide to learn how to make a decorative faux flower letter. This super simple craft idea is perfect for hanging on your bedroom wall.
In this episode of Craft Corner we show you how to make a decorative faux flower letter.
In order to make this you will need:
An assortment of faux flowers
Wooden letter
Emulsion paint
Paint brush
Picture ring
Sharp scissors
Glue gun
Step 1: Paint the wooden letter in a complimentary shade to your chosen flowers.
Step 2: Leave to dry.
Step 3: Attach the picture ring to the back.
Step 4: Cut flowers to size, allowing minimum stalk length to make them the same depth of the wooden letter.
Step 5: Roughly place flowers into the letter to plan where to stick, this ensures an even arrangement. Start with small around the edges then bigger blooms in the middle.
Step 6: Once happy with positioning, glue each flower stem individually.
Step 7: Hang in pride of place to show off your handy work!
