In this episode of Ideal Home’s Simple Solutions we show you how to freeze summer berries.
Step 1: Chop strawberries into large pieces and rinse together with a tub of blueberries.
Step 2: Air-dry both the berries
Step 3: Use a metal tray (check if it fits your freezer first) and line with baking paper to stop the fruit sticking
Step 4: Separate the berries to prevent clumping and freezer for one hour
Step 5: Afterwards transfer the berries to freezer bags and remove as much air as possible
Step 6: Label and return to the freezer
A quick serving suggestion – place 3 or 4 berries on a skewer and place into a jug of Pimms! It’s much better than ice cubes!
