Add colour to vases, notebooks or even regular household items. In this episode of Simple Solutions we channel our love of Washi tape and show you how to make a pretty picture frame with a vintage twist.Step 1: Take a plain frame and two different types of decorative tape
Step 2: Remove the back of the frame
Step 3: Run a strip of flower tape along the longest length of the frame closest to the glass
Step 4: Turn over and wrap tape around the sides and back
Step 5: Run another length above, matching up the pattern
Step 6: Swap tapes and tape either side of the glass under the length you did first
Step 7: Repeat a pattern until the frame is covered
Step 8: Run a strip of tape along the top and bottom to finish
Step 9: Add a pretty print and displayTop tip: You can buy different coloured Washi tape from larger newsagents or craft shops.
