Simple Solutions: How to make flavoured butter
We show you a simple recipe for making garlic butter.
In this episode of Ideal Home’s Simple Solutions we show you how to make flavoured butter
Flavoured butter is an easy way to add richness and flavour to soups, stews and roasts.
Step 1: Ensure your butter is softened. Ideally take it out of the fridge the day before.
Step 2: Finely chop 4 cloves of garlic and a small bunch of parsley
Step 3: Once all chopped together place the herbs and garlic in a bowl and mix together with 250g of softened unsalted butter.
Step 4: Lay out some baking parchment paper and spoon your mixture on
Step 5: Roll together and secure the ends of the paper. Label and refrigerate
Step 6: Cut into segments. Remove the paper from each segment. Store in the fridge for up to a month
Tip: Serve with corn on the cob or melt on toast for instant garlic bread
