In this episode of Simple Solutions we show you how to make handy pocket warmers - perfect for winter.
Step 1: Measure two 8cm x 8cm squares of fabric and cut out
Step 2: Place wrong sides together before sewing together. Leave a small opening at the top.
Step 3: 3/4 fill with dry rice or wheat
Step 4: Sew up and trim the edges with pinking shears to avoid fraying. Make more with fabric scraps or old clothing.
Step 5: Place in the microwave for 20 seconds.
These cosy hand warmers have many uses. They are great for pre-warming your shoes! Or why not use them for de-frosting the car door...
