Simple Solutions: How to make a dip dye basket
The two-tone trend that has been gracing British interiors for the past year or so shows no signs of slowing down. Furniture, accessories and everything in between have been getting the ombre or dip-dye treatment
From ombre to dip-dye, the two-tone trend shows no signs of fading away. Ideal Home shows you a quick and easy way to create your own two-tone wicker baskets, perfect for storing toiletries and other bits and bobs in your bathroom.
Step 1. Wrap masking tape around the bottom third of your basket
Step 2. Apply thin coats of matt emulsion paint and build up as you go. Paint the bottom, too.
Step 3. Leave to dry
Step 4. Once dry, carefully peel off the masking tape
Step 5. Paint a whole set and use for bathroom storage
