Simple Solutions: Monogrammed glass for Christmas
Ideal Home shows you how to create beautiful personalised glassware to give to your loved ones this Christmas
Print out letters in a big, fancy font.
Stick one to a sheet of self-adhesive vinyl.
Cut around the letter using a craft knife, peel off the vinyl and stick it to a glass, smoothing out any bubbles.
Use a sheet of hole reinforcers and play with polka-dots.
Dab on glass etching cream. Follow the instructions carefully as it’s corrosive.
Leave for 10 minutes then remove the excess using a wood or plastic scraper.
Wash gently and leave to dry, then peel off the vinyl sticker.
Give to a loved one with a nice bottle of wine.
