Last week we brought you our round up of sensational shutters, and this week it's the turn of wonderful window films that will transform your windows.
If you want to provide privacy at your windows without blocking out the light, then window film is your answer. It's ideal if you want a simple look - in a kitchen or bathroom, for example - especially if you have beautiful window frames to show off - and is a great solution for internal doors, too. Film is a fuss-free alternative to nets and sheers as it's so easy to apply and suits any scheme.

Window film is a great way to keep the heat in during the winter months. A typical house loses around 10% of its heat through windows part of which is because of draughts. If your windows are single glazed and you can't afford to fit double glazing, fitting window film with tape to the frame, then heating it with a hair dryer to shrink into place and trapping the air, means you'll soon feel the difference.
