A guest bedroom has been lovingly transformed into a traditional bathroom, stealing extra space from another bedroom by moving walls.
New plumbing, a bath, a basin, a loo and a shower enclosure have been fitted and a cupboard has been built in to create a modern Victoriana look with vintage sanitary ware.
The floorboards have been lime waxed and are teamed with slate grey painted walls and fresh, metro white tiles. A period-style suite in perfect condition was sourced second hand from eBay.

2/5 Traditional loo and towel rail
The traditional loo and radiator suits a house with original period features, plus a high-level cistern emphasises the rooms lofty proportions. A built-in cupboard next to the shower enclosure makes good use of space.

3/5 Step-in shower with rose shower head
Two walls are tiled in high-gloss white metro tile, which prevents the grey-painted room from feeling too dark. Built-in shelving alcoves in the shower store toiletries at eye-level.
4/5 Victoriana sink with ornate mirror
A gold-framed mirror found in a junk shop has been spray-painted white to fit in with a monochrome palette. White accessories keep the look fresh and crisp against the bathroom tiles.
