Sue knew all about the cottage she bought because she grew up in the house next door, where her parents still live in. This made renovation work a lot easier as she was able to stay with her parents while it was carried out. For the living room she went for a soothing colour scheme and made a compact home office in the corner.

Sue has lots of family heirlooms, like this vintage typewriter, which give her home character.
