Take a look around Sue's homely cottage in Herefordshire

Sue knew all about the cottage she bought because she grew up in the house next door, where her parents still live in.

Sue knew all about the cottage she bought because she grew up in the house next door, where her parents still live in. This made renovation work a lot easier as she was able to stay with her parents while it was carried out. For the living room she went for a soothing colour scheme and made a compact home office in the corner.

For the kitchen Sue went for a more industrial vibe with a stainless-steel cooker and metal shelves. The glossy white units and wooden worktops complement the industrial look.

The vintage pew and dining table fit in perfectly with the homely style of the cottage and are ideal for when Sue has friends and family round. A low-hung pendant light above the dining table gives softer light at meal times.
