Before and after: You won’t believe this jaw-dropping bathroom makeover

From dilapidated to delightful, see how two small rooms were transformed into a family bathroom…

The before

Faced with a small existing bathroom and a pokey obsolete study, the owners of this home opted to knock through and create a space that worked for their family of four.

The after

The new bathroom was designed to be a light, bright space with a blend of modern style and country touches – the finished room looks amazing!

To maximise light and space, the owners opted for a large glass shower cubicle, a wall-mounted vanity unit and a mirrored wall cabinet for extra storage.

Creating a dream space

Before the owners began working on the room, they visited a number of showrooms to get a clear idea of what they wanted. After deciding on a neutral scheme, to prevent the room feeling stark, they opted for sage green accent tiles and wood-effect tile flooring for a modern country vibe.

Finishing touches

A few accessories such as pattern towels, wicker storage baskets, mirrors and some art work add to the modern country theme and adds personality to the room.

If you loved this, be sure to take a look at a dramatic monochrome makeover.
