Step inside this chic country cottage in Yorkshire

Take a tour around this pretty quarry miner's cottage nestled in the Yorkshire Moors, chosen by Country Homes & Interiors

This delightful home, nestled in the Yorkshire Moors, an area best known for hardy and breathtaking beauty, is packed with pretty soft furnishings and country chic style. It took six months of major renovations to give the house a new roof, flooring, plumbing, electrics and windows. Structural work re-organised the rooms to create a new open-plan kitchen/dining room. A utility room and cloakroom were built out of the downstairs bathroom. A bathroom became the study and a bedroom and staircase were converted into an en-suite bathroom and a main bathroom. The house also has three bedrooms and a cellar. Outside a distinctive dry-stone wall is all that separates the cottage garden from miles of rugged countryside and plentiful wildlife.
