You won’t believe what’s underneath the floor of this stunning kitchen-diner

While this space may seem relatively unassuming, what the owners created under the floor is a real showstopper

Have you got an ambitious interior design dream? How far would you go to acheive it? One couple decided to go all in…

When the owners of this semi-detached Edwardian home came to redesigning their kitchen, they had one incredible (and somewhat unusual priority).

An extension of the original kitchen created the space they needed to achieve their interior design dream – an inbuilt spiral wine cellar.

Hidden neatly away beneath the limestone floor tiles, is a spiral staircase (that leads to nowhere, except maybe a pretty severe hangover) that can store an impressive 1,530 bottles! Now that’s a party!

The owners of the home love to entertain and say that the wine cellar is a real talking point whenever they have guests.

But if you’re feeling inspired to recreate this at home, you’re going to need a spare £34,000 so you may need to have a long hard think (and maybe a long tall drink) to decide how much you really want one!
