FAQs

Does Garden Trading offer a first order discount?

Garden Trading offers a 20% discount on your first order when you join the mailing list. To get this discount, head to the Garden Trading website and wait for the pop-out box to appear prompting you to add your email address. Once you sign up, you'll be emailed a unique discount code that you can use towards saving on your first purchase.

Can I get free delivery at Garden Trading?

Garden Trading delivery isn't free at the moment but it's worth noting that you can get a free delivery discount code from time to time, so keep your eyes peeled for that. If there isn't a free delivery code, standard delivery (3-5 working days) costs £6. However, if your parcel is classed as large or fragile this will cost you £15 instead.

Does Garden Trading do next day delivery?

The website does offer next-day delivery for an additional fee. That said, all deliveries are for weekdays only unless you specifically opt for a Saturday slot. For the average mainland UK parcel, next-day delivery will cost £10, or £15 for a Saturday delivery. Alternatively, for £10 you can also choose a specific delivery date, between 5-14 days ahead. For those who are in the highlands, islands and Northern Ireland, they can get either a standard delivery (5-7 working days) or a date of your choice 5-14 days in the future, both for £15.

How does Garden Trading furniture get delivered?

One thing you’re bound to look at with your Garden Trading discount codes is all the gorgeous indoor and outdoor furniture. As you may have expected, these do have to be delivered in a slightly different fashion to other, smaller, items. The brand has a specialist 2-person delivery service for these products, which costs £60 for the mainland UK, but requires specific quotes for the highlands, islands and Northern Ireland. With this service, the team contacts you directly so you can choose a delivery date, and once they arrive the items will be delivered to your room of choice and all packaging will be removed for you. However, they don’t currently offer an assembly service, so be sure to see if you’ll need to assemble the item before you purchase.

Are Garden Trading returns free?

If for some reason you don’t wish to keep your purchase made with your Garden Trading promo codes then you can return your items within 14 days for a full refund, although you do have to pay the cost of the return yourself. It’s a simple process, you simply print and complete a returns form and send back the items in the condition they were received and in the original packaging. If there was a fault with the product, send a photograph to the customer service team within 14 days and they will help you from there.

What payment options does Garden Trading have?

Garden Trading accepts major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express. If these don’t work for you, you can also pay via PayPal.

How do I contact Garden Trading customer service?

If you’d like to contact Garden Trading, simply scroll to the bottom of the homepage and click the ‘Contact Customer Service’ option. Once there, you’ll be able to simply fill out an online contact form, or phone the team on the following number: 01993 845559. Alternatively, you can send an email to customerservices@gardentrading.co.uk

Hints and tips

Even though Garden Trading promo codes are our favourite ways to grab a bargain, we like to make sure we know all the ways to save money. These are a few of the other things to bear in mind…

Newsletter Offers: Ensure you stay up to date with the latest news and find out about new products when you sign up for the Garden Trading newsletter using your email address. When you do, you’ll be among the first to hear about exclusive offers and promotions, and even get 20% off your first order.

Offers section: There’s nothing quite like knowing exactly where to head on a website to get the very best deals on offer, and aside from the Garden Trading promo codes, the ‘Offers’ tab has to be it. In this section of the website, you’ll find discounted products at 25%, 50% and even 60% off. What’s in the selection is constantly changing so it’s always worth a look. There will typically be end-of-season stock as well as timeless items like plant pots, vases, cushions and clocks.

Seasonal sales: Throughout the year, the Garden Trading website has seasonal sales that you should keep an eye on. Typically these appear over Bank Holidays and as seasons come to a close. The biggest tends to be the Garden Trading winter sale which starts on Boxing Day and runs right through January.

Bestsellers: Whether you're new to furnishing your garden or you've been a loyal customer of Garden Trading for years, it's worth checking out their handy bestsellers section. When you do, you'll be able to discover and purchase some of their most popular and most-loved items. That way, you can rest assured knowing that you'll probably love them in your own space too!

Black Friday sale: We love making the most of Black Friday here on Ideal Home, using Garden Trading discount codes whenever we can throughout the year and pivoting to Black Friday offers when the time rolls around. You never know what the deals are going to be, but we have previously seen every item discounted by 25% so it’s worth marking your calendar well in advance.

Follow on social media: Garden Trading keeps its social media followers up to date on special deals and even exclusive offers across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter, so whichever socials you're on, you can follow along and benefit from some insider knowledge.

What to buy from Garden Trading

If you’re thinking that the only possible issue with Garden Trading discount codes is knowing just where to start to browse in this mecca of home and garden products, then we can sort that out for you. While there truly is something for everyone on the site, one area where the brand especially thrives has to be its exceptional range of outdoor furniture.

We know a lot when it comes to the best garden furniture, as we spend hours testing and comparing what’s out there so you don’t have to. This year our discerning reviews team highlighted the Garden Trading Porthallow Wooden Corner Set as one of the best buys of the year.

The gorgeous acacia wood outdoor sofa with soft grey showerproof (looking at you, British summers) cushions suits just about every scheme. It’s delivered fully assembled directly to your chosen spot in your garden or patio, making the process as simple as can be. If you love the look but have a more bijou space, there’s a smaller 2 seater sofa and an armchair in the range too, both with the same classic and sleek good looks.

How do we source promo codes and deals?

We have an Offers team that sources codes and deals from affiliate networks and from researching the web. The codes are tested to see if they work and then added to the retailer pages, alongside sales, multi-buy deals, friend referral discounts and newsletter sign-up deals. The codes and offers are checked regularly to ensure they’re still live and working, and new deals are added multiple times a week, keeping the offer list fresh.

Alongside this, we have a Commercial team that works with the brands to secure exclusive discount codes. An exclusive code is an offer agreed upon by the brand that is the best in the market, it’s normally a limited-time-only offer so it’s worth snapping up when you see it.

We also have a Copywriting team who update the FAQs, Hints & Tips and Buyers Guides sections with additional information on how you can save money at each retailer, alongside answering other queries you may have.

What if my voucher code doesn’t work?

Although we have eyes on the pages checking the codes and offers are working, sometimes they expire early or the details change suddenly. If you do find a code that doesn’t work or an offer has expired, please feel free to get in contact and let us know at vouchers.idealhome@futurenet.com.

How do we make money?

When you click one of our offer links, a unique identifier is added that lets the retailer know that you’ve come from our Ideal Home discount code page. If you then buy something, we get a commission from the purchase. A commission is a small percentage of the money that you’ve spent on your item(s).

About Garden Trading

Garden Trading is one of those brands that always seems to have exactly what you need - even if you don’t know what you are looking for. As its name suggests, the company began its life in 1994 as a home for garden items and other outdoor products but soon moved into including interiors in its collections. Wherever in - or out - of the home, the products are destined for, they are designed and developed in-house before their team sources the best possible materials and skilled artisans to bring the creations into reality. These days there are over 1500 lines on offer, with everything from kitchenware, storage solutions, garden furniture, al fresco accessories and outdoor lighting.
