Space: Hallway, cloakroom, living room, kitchen-diner, dining room, 4 bedrooms, family bathroom, garden.

Exterior
This home has a classic look that's irresistably elegant, but it's the owners love of all things glittering that's made it extra special.

Festive staircase
Not many of the original wood features have been left unpainted. The neutral walls are echoed throughout the house.
The paint is from Farrow & Ball.

Living room
The owners painted the fire surround cream to ensure the living room had the sophisticated look they were after. The satin cushions add a feminine touch.
The sofa is from John Lewis, and the wall paint is from Farrow & Ball.

Kitchen

Christmas dining room
In the dining room, the festive glamour comes from the sparkling glass collection and the striking chairs the owners found at an antiques shop.
The candlesticks, tealight holders, runner, napkins and decorations are all from The White Company.

Guest bedroom
Dark accents are added to the cream guest bedroom. Bedroom furniture has been given a fresh lease of life with a lick of neutral paint to match the walls.
The wall paint is from Leyland, and the bed is from The White Company.

Bedroom
A mix of white-painted furniture and ornate accessories give the main bedroom a feeling of grandeur.
The throw and rug is from House of Fraser.

Bathroom
A soothing biscuit-coloured backdrop is lifted by a single etched-glass Art Deco-style mirror. The period detailing continues with the suite.
The mirror is from Laura Ashley.
