The five bedroom property was bought by Countdown presenter Carol for £1.1million back in 2007.

Once in, Carol extensively renovated the 1970s property to well and truly make her mark. She even changed the name of the property to ‘Sloblock Hall' - an anagram of ‘all b******s', which featured in a Countdown
sketch on the 1990s show Fry & Laurie.

The 1970s property, which sits just outside Bristol, was designed on a series of concentric circles.

Inside, the house boasts five bedrooms, four reception rooms and three bathrooms.

The main living area features an impressive wood burning open fire and glass ceiling, and opens up onto a circular terrace complete with large pond and waterfall.

And the outside extras don't stop there - a large pool, gym, several outbuildings and private parking complete the grounds.

The listing on the Knight Frank website says the house has been ‘refurbished to the very highest of standards':

‘Sloblock Hall provides contemporary style and modern living with sophisticated landscaped gardens in a popular, rural part of North Somerset.

‘Built of mellow Honey brick in the 1970s and designed on a series of concentric circles, Sloblock Hall combines modern architecture and minimalist design; the result is stunning, with open plan living space and stylish freeflowing accommodation.

‘The house was refurbished to the very highest of standards with large frameless glass windows, additional insulation, new roof, plumbing and wiring systems and an integrated IT and music system.

‘The secluded, private garden has been beautifully landscaped and planted to ensure total privacy and cleverly incorporates both the house and the terrain contours.'

The sprawling property was previously Carol's party pad (bar photo above for reference!). The TV presenter held many a do at the house, including her 1970s themed 50th birthday bash.
