Brigitte Bardot's holiday home is for sale and it is fabulous
Step inside Brigitte Bardot's former holiday home on the glamorous French Riviera
Brigitte Bardot's former French holiday home is for sale and it's as fabulous as you would expect.
From acres of vineyards to a 16-man Jacuzzi, it certainly has star appeal.
The stone-built villa in the glamorous Mediterranean playground of the Côte d'Azur dates back to the 13th century. Situated on an estate on the edge of the hilltop village of Paymeinade, overlooking the picturesque French Rivera, the discreetly located villa offers seclusion and privacy with breathtaking panoramic views of countryside and cost.
But guests need not feel too cut off, as it's conveniently only 30 minutes from the resort town of Cannes.
Bardot is believed to have holidayed at the estate during her early 20s. Since then, it's come under new owners and has been renovated and restored to its current impressive state.
The villa flaunts a whopping 14 bedrooms, two heated swimming pools, landscaped gardens, and an alfresco kitchen - all the ingredients needed for a fabulous party. And there'll be no shortage of wine, with a vineyard conveniently located within the grounds.
And it's just as impressive on the inside, which has been tastefully decorated in shabby-chic style. Stone and tiled floors, historic beams and period furniture all contribute to the rustic theme.

Of course, for a 14-bedroom villa in a sought-after spot in the south of France, there is a hefty price tag attached of approximately £5.8m.
Now, aged 81, Bardot continues to live locally in the Côte d'Azur.
