No Skyscrapers here, but the former X Factor house gets our vote as it goes back on the market
Those plucky X Factor contestants may be long gone (what were their names again?), but life goes on in real estate - especially for this desirable home in the leafy burbs of north London
Less than a month after X Factor winner Sam Bailey slammed the door shut on her old life to follow her dream of becoming a *cough* successful recording artist (and presumably move into slightly smaller digs), the house she shared in the show with her fellow warbling wannabes is back on the rental market.
The rather handsome family home occupies a prime spot on Broad Walk in the leafy north London burb of Winchmore Hill.
To the uninitiated, this exclusive enclave is a mere 30 minutes from central London and is a firm favourite with stars and families who want to escape the hoi polloi of the city. Indeed, crooners Lionel Richie and Sir Cliff Richard himself have both previously lived in the area.

The seven-bedroom detached property was the home-from-home during the X Factor live shows for contestants including Sam Callahan, Tamera Foster, Rough Copy, Luke Friend and Nicholas McDonald. Wonder where they are now...
And judging by these photographs, Simon Cowell's production company spared no expense when it came to the comfort of his starry-eyed proteges: as well as seven bedrooms and six spacious bathrooms (with plenty of space for diva shenanigans - yes we're looking at you Nicole Scherzinger) the property also boasts a sizable indoor heated swimming pool and a sauna.
But while plucky Sam may have bagged herself a £1 million recording contract with Cowell's Syco recording label we're not sure she'll be able to afford the rent on her former digs just yet (lest we mention Matt Cardle - a cautionary tale if ever there was one): the property is available to rent for the grand sum of £20,000 a month, that's £4,615 a week.

The estimated value of the property is in excess of £6 million with the average price of properties in the area tipping the £2.6 million mark.
Winkworth estate agent Nick Charalambous described the area to property website Zoopla as 'one of the most desirable in North London'.
One person who probably won't be moving in anytime soon is former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos. Last week we reported that the N-Dubz singer is selling her luxury Hertfordshire mansion in favour of more modest accommodation close by.
