Craft corner: How to make a decorative place setting
We show you how to make a pretty place setting for your dinner guests in a few simple steps.
Want to liven up your dinner table? In this Craft Corner video we show you how to make a pretty place setting for your dinner guests. This simple make is perfect for a special event, such as a wedding or dinner party.
Step 1: On a clean non-stick surface, roll out air dry clay to about a 5mm thickness.
Step 2: Using a ruler, cut small rectangular strips from the clay
Step 3: Cut a diagonal edge at the bottom of each rectangle.
Step 4: Ink your letter stamps, ready to print
Step 5: Using the stamps, spell out your guests' names in the clay strips
Step 6: Use a wet cotton bud to remove excess ink from the the clay around the letters
Step 7: Make loads and leave them to dry
Step 8: Once dry put the names in a small pot ready for the table
