An antique bath takes pride of place in this country-style bathroom. The original roll-top bath was re-enameled by Unique Enamelling and a new basin was chosen to match. Red Elm flooring from Duffield Timber complements the window sill and bathroom cabinet.

Traditional suite with country features

Traditional style
Period-style fittings are complemented by traditional wood panelling from Thornbridge Samwills, which has been painted in a soft grey. The recessed mirrored cabinet and loo seat were hand-made by David Robinson Design.

Concealed shower enclosure
A recess behind the door has been fitted out with a shower enclosure lined with Travertino Tiles from CTD. The door was hand-made by David Robinson Design.

Luxurious showerhead
A 'drenching' shower head makes the morning shower a real treat.

Period-style taps
Victorian-style basin taps from Boundary Bathrooms add to the traditional feel. A hand-etched splashback by Anita Pate behind the basin protects the wood panelling.

Recessed mirror cabinet
The recessed mirrored bathroom cabinet was hand-made by David Robinson Design and opens automatically when touched.

Antique taps
The existing traditional bath taps were re-chromed by Bathhouse Restoration a more eco friendly option than buying new taps.

Stained glass door
The hand-made door features a beautiful stained glass panel by Anita Pate.

Period country ‘before’
The old bathroom was taken back to its bare bones before being transformed into a country-style retreat.
