410 – Step 4

This charming bag is the perfect place to store pegs

Lay the front of the bag, right side up, on a worksurface. Place the floral back piece, right side down, on top, and then the gingham back piece, right side up, on top of that. Machine stitch around the two side and top edges, leaving a 2cm gap at the top. Turn through and insert the hanger. Turn under and slip stitch the bottom seam, then stitch a grosgrain ribbon bow below the hook.

This make was adapted from the book Sewing In No Time by Emma Hardy (£14.99), which features 50 step-by-step weekend projects. To order for the special price of £12.99, including free UK mainland p&p, call 01256 302699, quoting reference V16. Offer closes 31st May 2008.
