Coralie created a large relaxed kitchen-living area by knocking the original dining room and kitchen together and extending just 1.5m into the side return of her Victorian house. With the new layout, there was plenty of space for a roomy island unit.

Keeping to a pared-back feel, Coralie found a wooden farmhouse-style table on eBay with legs already painted soft blue. Three low-hanging pendants lights look dramatic over the table.
