Bryony likes to mix a variety of furniture to create a relaxed, eclectic look against the pale walls and wooden floor of her living room. Bright, retro-style cushions add colour and pattern, while a wall sticker creates a fun focal point.

Owl and Tangerine cushions
2/10 Living room alcove
3/10 Living room shelving
Clever shelving with a variety of compartments keeps DVDs and photographs in order. The brown leather sofa adds warmth to the pale scheme, while a patchwork chair, a gift from a friend, continues the vintage, eclectic feel.
The light and bright kitchen, with its sleek white units and wooden worktops, is Bryony's favourite room. She has added pops of colour with the linens that she designs herself.
5/10 Kitchen with pet’s corner
The terracotta flooring is a practical, easy-to-clean option and provides the perfect spot for Wilma the dog's dog bed. White units with stainless-steel handles, metro-style wall tiles and funky accessories complete the look.
6/10 Kitchen accessories
Practical additions, such as these storage canisters, bring a vibrant touch of retro colour and add to the character. A blackboard shopping list acts as a handy reminder, while a mirror adds a decorative touch.
7/10 Alcove office
Once again Byrony has made good use of her alcoves, this time for a neat spot for her computer in her home office where she runs her textiles business. She chose a subtly patterned wallpaper for the chimney breast.
8/10 Main bedroom
Pared-back style in Byrony's bedroom is livened up with colourful funky scatter cushions. A simple wooden-framed mirror enhances the natural look.
Byrony's simple neutral bathroom is given warmth and texture with coffee-coloured towels, a roll-up blind and cosy bathmat.
Bryony's home is a two-bedroom terraced Warner house built in 1880.
