This striking kitchen by Bradbury’s combines a fantastic mix of Alno‘s Vanilla hi-gloss units and spring lilac tones, emphasised by glass worksurfaces. A raised island offers ample storage and preparation space with lights underneath that shine onto the Esencia Vetiver polished porcelain floor tiles by CTD. Overhead, a glass-covered extractor unit masks a simple box built around the duct that connects to an outside wall.

Appliances
To keep the larger appliances together, the microwave has been neatly slotted in at eye level, near the bank of Neff ovens. Walls painted in Duluxs Lilac White pick up the soft lavender shade of the worktops and splashbacks. The Venetian blinds were custom-made by Stylehome.

Island unit
The homeowners chose to have deep drawers, rather than cupboards, to store their pans and small kitchen appliances. Many of these are in the island, which is also home to their induction hob by Neff and spacious worksurface.

Flatscreen television
The flatscreen TV is part of an integrated audio-visual system, supplied by Sevenoaks Sound & Vision, that continues throughout the house. Bradburys built the glass-topped dining table that is teamed with cream leather chairs from John Lewis.

Kitchen shelving
Shelves sited inside an old chimney breast display pretty glassware. Below, the worksurface is made of hardwearing laminate, while the glass worktops have been painted on the back in Duluxs Purple Sage 4.

Pan drawers
Pans stay in their place thanks to these adjustable beech pegs within the drawer. The Judge stainless-steel saucepans, from Gourmet Cookware, are suitable for use with the induction hob.

Pull-out drawers
Pull-out drawers for food ensure that everything stored in the larder is clearly visible.
