Kirstie Allsopp designs new wallpaper range for B&Q
We asked Kirstie Allsopp what inspired her new wallpaper collection

Last week I got chatting to none other than Kirstie Allsopp, and first on our list of topics was her new wallpaper range for B&Q.
There are 3 designs, each in 2 colourways, and all with a delicate but nonetheless eye-catching floral print. Kirstie said; "I have a thing for pattern and wallpaper, I would cover my whole house if I could."
A notorious collector, Kirstie was inspired by designs from her mounting collection of knick-knacks. All the cushions, fabrics and even vases that she has ferried away over the years have "finally come into use. Invariably on a Saturday my husband, kids and I will visit an antiques fair, and I will always pick up something just because I fall in love with it."
This passion translated onto her wallpaper designs; "at the end of the day, it's about doing something you love in your home."
The wallpapers will be on sale at B&Q in October, starting from £19.98.
