According to new research from property website Zoopla.co.uk, that dream house also needs to be on the right street – and if you can manage it, preferably one beginning with U.
Average prices for properties situated on streets beginning with U stand at £251,307 – over £25k more than the current UK average of £225,804.

And vowels beat consonants when it comes to house prices, too, with an average property costing 3% more.
