Previously a gardener's cottage, the owners of this 19th century cottage, thought it only fitting to create a kitchen in a striking shade of mint green, for an entirely individual look. Bright white worktops add to the fresh and airy feel.

This kitchen was designed by In-toto.
2/7 Hidden extractor
The original chimney breast conceals an extractor, and the surrounding mantle provides a perfect place to display accessories and decorative pieces, adding to the country kitchen feel.
The hidden canopy extractor hood is by Neff, and for accessories like these, head to TK Maxx.
3/7 Appliances
Carefully positioned within a bank of cabinets, the microwave, oven, and coffee maker, blend into the mid-height cupboards, with an integrated fridge hidden behind as well.

4/7 White worktop
The original features and windows stand out against in a white colour scheme. A metal chandelier adds glamour to the room.

5/7 Kitchen bin
2 pull-out bins, one in front of the other, helps make recycling simple. The door is disguised as drawers so they line up perfectly with the rest of the cabinets.

6/7 Alcove shelving
Space in maximised in the kitchen. Fitted shelving in the alcove of the chimney breast creates a perfect display area for kitchen accessories.

7/7 Arched window
Vast original, arched windows create a beautiful feature in this kitchen. Blinds help add a sense of privacy without loosing light, and a matching mint-green sofa creates a comfortable seating area, perfect for entertaining.
