The exterior woodwork has been painted in Pigeon exterior eggshell by Farrow & Ball (opens in new tab).
1/9 Home Exterior
2/9 Living room
In the small snug, Seventies swirly Artex has been covered with tongue-and-groove panelling, and built-in bookcases either side of the fireplace. The walls were painted in Down Pipe and the bookcases in Lime White estate eggshell, both Farrow & Ball (opens in new tab). The Jackson statement armchair came from Sofa.com (opens in new tab).
3/9 Country kitchen
The painted units and wooden worktop were built by a joiner for a fraction of the cost of a high-street buy. The range cooker is from Esse (opens in new tab), and the chimney breast above it was constructed to disguise the extractor fan.
4/9 Kitchen tiles
The Retro Metro crackle glaze tiles in Lime House are by Fired Earth (opens in new tab)
5/9 Dining area
The greens and blues of the map provided inspiration for the dining room's colour scheme. The banquette seating was built to fit by the joiner, and contains hidden storage for their outdoor seating cushions. The green pendant old school lamps are from The French House (opens in new tab).
6/9 Family room
Their joiner built the cupboards and shelves to store books and treasured possessions. Every cupboard and shelf was measured specifically for the things planned to go in there. There's another Jackson armchair from Sofa.com (opens in new tab) in here accessorised with a Hare in Grass cushion from Helen Minns (opens in new tab).
7/9 Hallway
The newel post and handrail were painted in Pigeon estate eggshell by Farrow & Ball (opens in new tab) to contrast against the spindles of the staircase. Pigeon has become a bit of a signature colour for this house as it was also used it for the front door and the exterior of the French windows at the back.
8/9 Main bedroom
The existing fitted wardrobes have been painted in Off-White estate eggshell by Farrow & Ball (opens in new tab), and a feature made of the chimney breast behind the bed with The Boatmen wallpaper by Zoffany (opens in new tab).
9/9 Nursery
There's an animal theme in the nursery with Animal Farm wallpaper from the Kids collection by Ferm Living from 95% Danish (opens in new tab) on the wall behind the cot. The dresser was painted in French Gray estate eggshell by Farrow & Ball (opens in new tab).
