Great British Bake Off fans: It's happening.

Yes, the new series is just around the corner, and will be back on our screens in August.

If you can't wait to meet the new batch of bakers and hear epic new puns from everyone's favourite double act, Mel and Sue, we have the video for you.

The new trailer for the show has been released by the BBC, and if the teaser clip is anything to go by we are in for a treat when the series properly kicks off next month.

Paul, Mary, Mel and Sue are all back in the famous white tent, along with a dozen (rather than baker's dozen) new amateur bakers ready to fight for the crown to become Great British Baker 2015, taking the baton from last year's winner, Nancy.

News of the show's return was broken by the show's producers on Facebook with the Mel and Sue inspired line: Guess who's back? Back again. Bake Off's back, tell a friend...'

In addition to the main show, the BBC Two spin-off
Bake Off: An Extra Slice will also be returning. Jo Brand will be presiding over the talk show, where the exiting baker will be interviewed and fans of the show invited to share their baking highs (and lows!) with a panel of celebrity bakers.

So, for the first time this year: On your marks...get set....BAKE!
